Re: Crystal Palace Away
Hope he doesn't rest anyone for this, league points are more important than anything else at this time.. Arsenal to take a 2-0 lead in first half with Palace looking like rabbits caught in headlights, second half a spirited response by Palace sees them score while Arsenal cannot shake of the lethargic dip in their performance. Arsenal perhaps to nick a late goal to win 3-1.
Re: Crystal Palace Away
I realise it's ages since we played at Selhurst, and there has been a real bun fight for tickets ; this amuses me greatly, as when we played there twice every season back in the mid 90s (when Wimbledon were their tenants and also in the PL), and often drew one of them away in the cups too, you could not pay Gooners to go down there. What a pain that stadium is to get to.

Must be an easy win, and need the morale boost after last night as well.

My first thought was a hernia as well. Might have been a perineal hernia, slightly sensitive I guess so maybe they did not want to broadcast the exact nature of the lesion to spare Theo some stick?Theoperator wrote:That why I thought it was a hernia- "posterial abdominal problem needing an operation", doesnt sound too different to a hernia to me, though hernias wre in the anterior not posterior wall usuallyaw wrote:rodders999 wrote:Speaking of Theo how the hell can someone be out for this length of time with a stomach injury???

He should have gone a bit further South and went for the bollocks. That would be a GIF for the ages!DB10GOONER wrote:TurnipMasher wrote:Can't...stop...watching...DB10GOONER wrote:Yeah... but also kind of cool...TurnipMasher wrote:Seeing the Zidane headbutt in triplicate on the side of my screen is surreal!aw wrote:Sorry about the triple post![]()

I keep wondering why he stitched him in the chest. Why not stitch him in the nose proper-style?![]()

I managed to come out good in the bun fight and got my tickets....TheCook wrote:I realise it's ages since we played at Selhurst, and there has been a real bun fight for tickets ; this amuses me greatly, as when we played there twice every season back in the mid 90s (when Wimbledon were their tenants and also in the PL), and often drew one of them away in the cups too, you could not pay Gooners to go down there. Ian holloway has left crystal palace by mutual consent press conference @5.30
Re: Crystal Palace Away
Hope Palace don't get any kind of boost from this and that our lot don't think it's easy. Alarming to hear Wenger saying some players are jaded. It's October

Fucking typical, suppose there will be a new (caretaker) manager 'bounce' now. That said, they are absolutely rank, as bad as derby when they racked up 11 points so I would rest several players as we are burning them out.mcdowell42 wrote:Ian holloway has left crystal palace by mutual consent press conference @5.30
I would also probably start Bendy Big Bollocks too and if we can't put 3 - 4 past them within the hour then I'd bring on Giroud. If we lose this game I'll eat may own teeth.
