On a less amusing point seems Spurs have just scored a winner.

At least they're still shit though.

thinned the pack a bit tonight - United, Newcastle and Southampton all out.

Top 5 will be as is i reckon, though different order maybe.

spuds are hanging on by their hairy knuckles, but they'll soon be out too - no way are they catching Chelsea and City let alone us !

Are you saying United can't finish top 4? But Spurs can? And before tonight Newcastle were perfectly capable? Can't agree with any of that.

Think united will get at least 5th-at expense of one of Merseyside teams.

I know both chavs and city won tonight but seems like every set of fixtures at least one of our 'rivals' slips up as we win again - happy days!

no top 3.

newcastle spuds and southampton now out of reckoning for the Top four, i think a gap will develop between the top three and 4&5 and then another gap below them.

As long as Liverpool keep Suarez they have a shot at staying ahead of manyoo, Everton look well set up under Martinez, who i liked beforehand.

I think that us, liverpool or Everton will be 4th. Chelsea and City are just looking too full of talent up front despite their defensive lapses not to be top four.

United's strength was OT plus grinding out results away. that's totally gone - i see them losing at chelsea and city beating them at OT.

United's goal difference is +4 - less than Southampton and Evertons...

and they play newcastle without their front two.

they're done - the whole team needs a makeover, otherwise they are just a mid table club with one exceptional striker and one former one.

United aren't out of it yet lads.......lets enjoy their temporary misery and hope it continues but 12 points can easily be reversed over more than half a season

it can - by a side with pace and quality that needs some players back from injury, and maybe a little coaching and tinkering, but they don't have the squad.

the question is , where do they pick the 8 & 12 points up where we, chavs and city don't Steve ?

basically all of the top three need to lose 3 more games each than united AND lose to them too.

had united won their last two games, then i'd agree with you - but they picked up just 1 point.

they are done for the season imho.

Watching MOTD never seen Chavs defending set pieces so poorly. They were a shmbles.

All 7 goals were defending errors, even both Hazard's goals, first one defender practically invites him to shoot on his right foot. Second goal 2 players tracking him ball watch and he gets the return pass in the penalty area. It was a good shot but they should have tracked the man not the ball.

Nice to see Moyes has finally achieved his ambition to get Everton to win at Old Trafford

The game was so open, probably should have ended a draw, but f**k Manure. No RvP and no chance of getting the title.

If he is still with that sh*te lot in January 'll be shocked.

He is far too good for that mickey mouse outfit and Brenda.

I think they're done in terms of winning the league, I don't see them making up the points on us, Citeh and Chavs. Not because it's impossible because United have pegged back big deficits before and if they hit their stride second half of the season even a massive lead can be squandered in the space of 5 or 6 games if things go pear-shaped.

However, although I'm sure they'll have at least one cracking run where they'll win 7 out of 8 or something along those lines I don't see them having the consistency for the rest of the season to keep the pressure on. Their fear factor has gone and whereas in the past they could rely on winning at least 10 home games without having to turn up, everybody is now going there fancying their chances. The gift of the 3 points against us should really have acted as a springboard for their season but in their next 3 winnable games they've dropped 7 points.

I think they're still capable of catching us without doubt, also Chelsea and probably Citeh. I could see both of our fortunes completely turning later on in the season and I'm not even remotely convinced Chavs are the real deal. But all 3? Not a chance for me.

They have Gollum in charge and an average ageing squad. They'll be lucky to finish top 4.
