CL draw

Couldn't be less excited for this draw. Boring, expensive trips to teams who will bend us over and shaft us with ease. Europa League woulda thrown up more interesting trips.

I'm hoping for PSG, Atletico have been outstanding this season. Barcelona would be interesting as they can be beaten. Bayern or Real Madrid would be a disaster.

I'd be up for Bayern. A 4-0 drubbing at the Grove, followed by a morale-boosting 1-0 win for us at the Allianz that will signify that there's something about this team, and that next season their time will come. You'll just be able to tell that they'll be ready to legitimately challenge for all four trophies in 2014/15, and Wenger will splash out big next summer, just you wait and see.

Okay, I'll take Barcelona then. On the basis we already set the record of zero attempts on goal there back in 2011, it's the one opponent we can't do any worse against. Well, unless they decide not to score own goals for us.

Fuck it, let's just have PSG. Even if they thump us 3-0, at least we can see our glorious leader enjoying some vintage vino in club level with their club execs. Who knows, maybe Ivan will even pop in for a glass (half-full, naturally).

Or will a certain ex-Spud be back to haunt us...

we beat bayern in the spring and barca can be beat, why so glum fellas? it seemed the consensus on here has been we would go out in the knockout round and now many of you sound surprised we'll be playing good teams?!!

Problem is that the club looks different at that, CL brings in more money :wink:
Atletico would be a fair draw for Arsenal, if you get Bayern please trash them this time :mrgreen:
As for BVB I have the strange feeling that we have to take on ManCity :rubchin: so what :lol: ?!

It's gonna be Real Madrid, you can see it now. Monkey Boy has a blinder and then we have to face the Spuds giving it large to us at their place the following game, followed by Chavs (A), Citeh (H), and Everton (A). Jeeesssussss, what a disaster that little lot could be!
