if we come out and take it to them, up tempo, crisp passing in midfield, i think it will be a good match (1-2). BUT if we sit back as we did with everton and man utd., we wont be able to handle that for 90minutes and will go down in flames(3-1).

do the right thing arsene.

also i think santi may need to sit this one, been a couple weeks now and he's still not on top form.

We won't get a hiding, last 3 years we've actually turned up there and played pretty well. We don't really seem to have the hoodoo there that we have when we're playing Chavs or United. That said I would have had no confidence in us even if they hadn't rested key players midweek while Giroud and others slugged around the pitch for 90 minutes for no reward.

A draw would be perfect.

TBH I think we will beat Citeh. Possibly. Well, maybe... :rubchin:

Depends on which Arsenal turn up but also on which Citeh turn up. They are beatable. But if we sit back and let them play they will pop us 2 or 3 nil. If we take it to them I could see us beat them 1-2.

The bleating has already started about the TV schedule, so watch out for a 3-1 defeat with There's Only One in full 'everyone's to blame but me' mode after the game

Amazing how fixture congestion catches him by surprise after 30 years working in football whilst those that haven't worked a single day in football realised our one centre forward might be more than 'leeetle bit jaded physically' playing 2 games a week all season

Mmmm, I shan't be putting money on any of your predictions mate cos they are a bit, well, gash

Could well be game of the season so far, some top midfielders on display and hope we at least get a draw but actually think we will sneak it, 2-3 to The Arsenal :barscarf:

Their home form has to end some time and who better to do it than the champions to be?

Seriously, StevO. You need to cut the shit. You have not worked for 30 years in football. :banghead:

Excuse in first, we played at the latest possible time the weekend prior to a massive (potentially) Champions League game and the earliest possible time the weekend after that Champions League game.

To me there is the touch of the Doctor's appointment about this game, in ways dreading it but also want it over and have a clear idea of the state of health when the appointment is over. City are obviously much better than United but strangely may be easier for us to play them given our inferiority complex visiting (or indeed playing) Manure..
If we learn from recent games then we go for it, when we wait for the game to happen we play in fits and starts. go for it from the start, push City back, keep up intensity and we will be ok..draw or narrow away win.

If we go with a similar team as last night, then we have no hope. I cant understand why Walcott didnt play against Napoli, as there was clear gaps for him to run into in the second half. Also, as much as i admire the passion Jenkinson has for the club, he is completely out of his depth at this level. Added to that, Giroud has looked extremely poor the last few games, and is clearly in need of a proper rest. All of that together will lead to a SHIT storm coming against city :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Why do people think we are going to take City on? Napoli had conceded 8 goals in their last 3 games and we hadn't an attempt of note all night. The clueless one will have us sitting back getting our belly tickled just like the last time we were in Manchester.
