WHAM - this (Last) Christmas

what I really hate about this team is that we are actually now boring to watch.
there is no pace in the side and what is the point of having a multitude of options in midfield when we don't have a cutting edge goal scorer to finish chances off?

Wenger has been very very lucky this season.
the summer transfer window was a disaster but by some fluke managed to pick up a Real Madrid cast off and everyone suddenly proclaimed him as a genius again. add in the easiest fixture list up to December ever and "theres only one Arsene Wenger" was heard loud and proud at the Emirates.

the last 2 games I went to (Marseille and Hull City at home) a few weeks ago it became apparent that if we started to play teams of genuine quality we were likely to struggle.

fail to beat West Ham and I wouldn't be surprised to see the wheels fall off big time. Ozil must wonder what he has come to and I wouldn't be surprised to see Mourinho "rescue" him in the summer

No offence but there is no way Maureen will be 'rescuing' Ozil. He has enough luxury players who don't always turn up. No offence but against Shitty,Manure and chavs he was anonymous. These are the games for him to stand up and be counted FFS he gifted Fernandinho a goal from a sloppy pass just when we thought we might get into the game.

I'm sure he's utterly disgusted at the fact that we're 2nd on goal difference in the league and in the last 16 of the CL.

Hes been talking about giving ozil a rest and i reckon this will be the game he rests him, newcastle away looks the tougher match,so i expect he will bring santi in instead of ozil.

He has had enough rests lately...about time he fcuking turned up for a match  I dont mind a player playing badly on occasions but when a player, a £42m one of the worlds best players, hides in every big game you play then it pisses me off big time :x

Hear, hear he's had a month off by my calculations and should be well rested.

No predictions beyond if we turn up in defence then we'll win this and probably be top at Christmas....cue the chants of TO 1 AW.

This a million times.

Been saying it since summer.

This season is a win-win for gooners.

He'll either win a trophy or trot off somewhere else.

The number of top managers who would stampede over his professional corpse to take his job would be countless.

The odd defeat or sh*t display will p*ss us off but we will get what we want. Aw's own after the Villa defeat have damned him. No actual trophy and he's off. He said it himself. He didn't mention 4th. He said a trophy.

Come end of the season if he fails and doesn't walk then we have to do what we can properly.

Not just nice coloured black scarf movements and forum rants. The fans at Shitty clubbed together to pay for an ad to thank a manager, surely we can afford to do likewise.

I would put money towards it. It'll be money well spent. Nothing disrespectful or we'll lose the media and sadly we need those c**ts. Something along the lines of thank you blah, blah, you are an honourable man, time to do the honourable thing and hold yourself to your own words.
You're right of course.....but

Remember at Arsenal we play for a special fifth trophy that nobody else recognises......and its the one that matters most to Wiggy.

Your only hope of There's Only One walking away comes with a 5th place finish but I think the marching AKBs will have ensured that their hero has signed up long before that day

I thought the same thing when I watched the game live but when you watch it again, the blame is absolutely flamoney's - fcuker must have been carrying a horse on his back cos he moved so slowly to the ball that it had gone by him before he got there

Well said.

It's known as the festive period and all they do is act like they are a one month long one!

Roll on Boxing Day when pubs return to normal opening hours, there is a load of sport and plenty of non-sexual male company is available.

they usually roll over and die when united, city or chavs are down there, but against us it always seems like along with the spuds its their cup final.

Wham have a talent deficit though this year, and fat sam has lost his sweaty touch.

we have the talent to stonk them 4-5 Nil easy. bearing in mind the fact that he's been on the training ground for six weeks, you think Pod would be ready to start up front with Giroud no ?

------Giroud-----Pod------
------------Ozil-------------
Ramsey---Flamini----Wally

lets have at them. but knowing wengers poor preparation and tactics we'll go with the same formation and starters as last night and with no game plan or direction it'll be backwards passes and runs up blind alleys galore :banghead:

i'm not confident but hoping for a 2-0 win,

WENGER OUT !!!!!
