There's only Oxlade-Chamberlain from the attackers that warrants a nailed on spot in this team at the moment. If he did theoretically rest/drop Cazorla, Giroud or Ozil for the Everton game for the likes of Gnabry and Sanogo, I'm not sure it would make much difference.

If he leaves out Oxlade-Chamberlain vs Everton I'd be annoyed, the rest are much of a muchness.

We all know he's still going to prioritise Munich and if that means throwing in a few wild cards like Gnabry into the mix vs Everton, I'm all for it, instead of another tepid performance by one of our more established players.
Much like the Liverpool game in the 5th round, a changed line up from the dross against United a few days earlier resulted in a improved performance with a higher tempo. I'd be very happy to see Gnabry and Oxlade-Chamberlain start this game.
Why on earth wasn't the Ox played yesterday. He's missed almost five months of the season FFS so has had less football time than virtually every other player in the squad. When he came on he created more in the last 10 minutes than the rest of the team had in the previous 80.

Wilshere was absolutely fucking hopeless yesterday - honestly the kid needs a prolonged rest because its clear to me every time he goes into a tackle or lands awkwardly he's playing through pain in that ankle and its seriously hampering his performances

If he doesn't want to drop one of the wider midfield players then let the Ox play instead of Wilshere

And, pray tell SteveO, for how many years exactly have you worked in football? If it's not 30 then your opinion isn't valid.

Us half-a-day JCLs should be careful what we wish for.

If we'd spent that extra €10m on Higuain or £10-£15m on Suarez we'd end up like these......so just be careful

With you all day on this (not sure about the riot bit!). FA Cup is our only possible chance of a trophy and I want one very badly. If he compromises the opportunity next Saturday my contempt will be limitless

Exactly, any trophy will do and as you say the FA cup is our only realistic chance this season.

Anything to end this fucking drought as I am sick of hearing about it every single day in the media!

Quite, the game against Palace alone showed what Oxlade-Chamberlain offers, wherever he is played on the pitch. With no midweek games either side it is baffling why he wasn't in from the start, but as you say who are we to question Wenger

Whatever side is put out they are going to have to improve vastly on yesterday because one thing that can be guaranteed is that Everton are going to want this badly, and they were more than good value for their point at ours earlier in the season, I can see another draw to be honest.

Presuming we go through do you want to get City out of the way in the semis or wait for the final?

If we beat Everton they'll heat the balls for the draw (oi oi). Easily done with only 4 in the pot.

They don't want another Manchester United vs Millwall situation on the cards, so they'll fiddle it to try and get rid of all of Sheffield United/Charlton, & Hull/Sunderland in time for the final.

Although they could sell a Manchester City vs Sunderland final as a 'revenge mission'. But anything other than Arsenal or Everton vs Manchester City final is going to result in great ratings for Countryfile over on the BBC.

the only way to heap pressure on our beloved leader and board is for us to lose, imagine the boos that will ring out,if we win we will only go out next round and probably away from home to spare Wenker the abuse of the Arsenal fans.im up for anything that puts that idiot in an awkward spot, short term pain for long term gain,i hope we lose,we cant win it anyway, seriously is anybody being fooled in to thinking we can the fa cup, this is wenkers arsenal we are talking about here goldfish brains

I've never been a fan of Giroud but if OGL is going to stick with statues up front, he has to play runners like Ox. We have no pace or width otherwise and as the repulsive Hughes said yesterday, it was too easy to stop us playing.
And please no more Wilshere.
This game is our season. I've lost count of the number of times this team have had a key match (to stay in a cup, to go 5 points clear etc etc) and have played with no passion or desire.

Really can't understand this way of thinking. No matter how I feel about Wenger and the board, I could never want us to lose a game no matter what the opposition or circumstances.

Biggest game of the season, don't care how fucking spoiled it sounds but the fans deserve a day (or two) out at Wembley and Citeh are the only big gun left in.

We will be completely unprepared for them playing compact and pressing us hard and high. They will play as they did back in December by stopping us playing and backing themselves to get goal(s) on the counter or from robbing us in possession.
