As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Swifty - is that the same John Kosmina that had a spell with us in the late 70's?
Well played Quartzy!!
It is indeed the same one. These days makes semi regular appearances as manager in the A-League in between being sacked. Only time i ever liked him was when he grabbed Muscat by the throat.

At least it drew a bit of media attention from how shit we were. Meant I could turn on the radio without instantly having to listen to the usual suspects of despicable *word censored* sticking the knife in.
Can see the FA hitting him with a huge ban, then Ashley saying it makes his position untenable.
I know someone who was at a function some years ago and Pardew was their with his missus, and aparently he got really jealous and made a twat of himself, cause some bloke was chatting to her.
FA handed Pardew a 3 game stadium ban? And a touchline ban for a further 4 games? He was also fined £60,000 by them, in addition to the £100,000 fine from the toon. Is it enough? Bollocks it is.
He reckons he feared for his job. Cuntrash should have been sacked. And publicly flogged too.

It was ridiculous that Newcastle acted so swiftly with the £100k fine. Made it obvious they didn't really care but wanted to make a big gesture to pretend they did. They should have had board meetings etc to consider the gravity of his actions and the most appropriate course of action and made him sweat at least.

In years to come, long after his pro career has ended, meyler will look back on his career and think about the goals he should have scored, or the tackles he should have won, or even the transfer moves that he should/shouldn't have made, but I would think that none of the regrets he will have will come close to the regret about not hammering the shit out of pardew
