How do you explain Liverpool challenging for the title, and having the best strike partnership in the league, and they didn't qualify for any European competition last season? If finishing outside the top 4 means we get a manager who doesn't think qualifying for a competition is success then im all for it.
We were on the same points as Liverpool before the chelski game, so how is it they are challenging for the title and were not? :?
They are destroying teams at the moment, even on our best day, do you think we could go to OT and win 3-0? They have the best strike force(and the best player) in the league. We have players who bottle it every big game they play. So il ask again, what benefit is it, to qualify for the champions league, when it means our strike force is made up of Giroud, Sanogo, Bendtner, while a team that didn't qualify for any European competition can have Suarez and Sturridge as their attacking options? You are like so many others fans, deluded to think the last CL qualification will bring in some sort of change, but it will never happen.

And that, in half a sentence, should point out to the halfwits that it matters not one jot whether we qualify or not. The board's view of investing in the squad is shared by the manager.......whether we have 200m or 2m in the bank, our approach remains the same. Kroenke is a cancer slowly killing our football club, with willing assistants Gazidis and Wenger milking the gravy train for every last drop

This must be a joke? Really, the manager is that spineless that he wont do a press conference for fear of being ripped to shit about what happened yesterday. Im expecting some strange press conferences with him, between now and the end of the season, in which he asks one of the journalists why he is looking at him, and asks others have they worked a day in football.

The mighty Swansea come to town....3rd from bottom in the form table and with 3 points from their last 9 away games. 3 away wins all season at the superpowers of Fulham, Palace and West Brom

No doubt a boring, shabby, scraped win will be the sign of our great mental strength and powers of recovery

judging by previous form after our drubbings, it'll be 0-0. Sanogo lumbering around in place of dropped Giroud. Santi looks buggered. Rosicky no doubt is. He played despite an ankle knock in yesterday's fiasco. Ox banned or not?
Swansea will be delighted and think there's a chance to pick up points to avoid relegation. Michu is back for them isn't he? Last time I saw him he put 2 past us when we lost to them at home.

apparently we're appealing Gibbs red and then we'll appeal Ox's as the Superman save wasn't a direct scoring opportunity?? And talk of Ramsey back for Sat - bet he can't wait

Gibbs' will be overturned, obviously. As for Chamberlain under normal circumstances the FA can't act retrospectively to issue a ban for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity, so unless there are specific rules in place about substituting bans for mistaken identity he won't be punished. BBC mentioned a previous case (Preston I think) where ban was transferred, but that was violent conduct.

In any event given it was going wide and nobody else near it imo they're unlikely to ban Ox anyway, although don't think they'd rescind the ban either if they'd got the right bloke.

If fans had any true sense about Wenger, this the type of game to go to rather than the united, Chelsea , city games.

We have too much quality - maybe Gnabry will get a run out ?

2-0 TV & Caz.

i would go with ;
Szczesney
Sagna...Mert..Kos..Gibbs (assuming he is cleared.
Gnarby..Flamini.Santi..Arteta..Rosicky (assuming Ox is banned)
Podolski.

Podolski is our most natural scorer and i would like to see him play as a striker before he leaves in the Summer..
The early chance Giroud missed at Chelsea is exactly the kind of chance he thrives on.

Pod with the 'lazy frenchman' or without - a strikeforce that will frighten no one !. I hope I'm wrong but I think Swansea will score at least one so a draw looks on the cards. If we don't win I think 4th spot looks dodgy. Schitty then Toffees away look too hard. :D :D

Flappy in goal, TV in central defence? SoNoGoal up front on his own.......wow, it will be a thriller for the 52,000 who turn up!! Swansea to nick it 2-1. 4th place is NOT safe!!
