And that is how to stick a ball away - just how long before we have a No. 9 worthy of the shirt - a long time I fear

Dawson & Kaboul are a hilariously shite partnership.

Oh god please dont let Liverpool win the league.

Liverpool v City could be a classic, particularly with Aguero back. Maureen will go up there and try to bore the pants off it.spendsum4uckingmoney wrote:Oh god please dont let Liverpool win the league.

They did ask the Liverpool fans that were involved with the crowd surge at Hillsborough to please step forward but then realised that this choice of words was a a little insensitive. Let's just hope anyone but these serial killers win the league

liverpool as the winner of the PL is the best thing that could happen to us who want to get rid of wenger, he would get rid of the oil money excuse and everyone would see the naked emperor he is and that it just needed a modern game plan, tactical ability and the ability to lift your players mentally all that rogers has and wengar lacking, and we should not forget that a world class striker wins you games which the self harmer have avoided buying for almost 2yrs. But then again maybe I'm overestimating wenger capacity for self-examination and his taste for humble-pai.

Scum four down.

Lee Dixon, who's on commentary for the American broadcast, has mentioned '89 at least a half dozen times.

Wenger Gazidis and Kroenke played their part in helping Liverpool this season. The Liverpool board must have been dreading a £55-60m offer for Suarez last summer. And what did we offer a derisory £40m+£1.A joke offer from a joke manager and board.

Whilst it will make wenger squirm a bit, but it will never get rid of wenger. Wenger will Spin, Spin, Spin his way out of that one. He will go with 'it was an accident'FreddyTheRed wrote:Livpool winningspendsum4uckingmoney wrote:Oh god please dont let Liverpool win the league.

Just be up there with JT winning the European Cup, something that induces nausea in gooners and others.

He'll focus on the importance of havng your big players fit at key parts of the season and that's exactly what's happened with Liverpool.Supagoon wrote:Whilst it will make wenger squirm a bit, but it will never get rid of wenger. Even if we want to point an accusing fnger at Wenger, it doesn't change the fact Liverpool have managed to get Suarez and Sturridge on the pitch all season.... and now we're at the business end of the season, they have Gerrard, Coutinho, Sterling, Henderson, Sturridge and Suarez all fit and flying, whereas we have Ozil, Ramsey, Theo and Jack up in the stands.
Don't get me wrong, we would have fallen short anyway (not least because Giroud, Yaya and Bendtner don't have anywhere near the firepower required) and Liverpool's energy and tactics have been impressive, but having your best players to call upon (especially Suarez) helps a hell of a lot.
If (and I hope it doesn't happen) Liverpool win the league, then it illustrates the importance of having goalscorers. United did it last season with RVP and Liverpool are raped pretty much every team with their strikeforce.
- could Giroud ever do that? - no. We simply don't score enough goals

Liverpool have been exceptionally lucky with injuries, and also having the lack of fatigue-inducing European football. But pace, clinical striker(s) and confidence (in all games) are some of the cornerstones of nearly any league-winning sides and they have all 3 in abundance, to the extent that it has papered over the complete lack of quality elsewhere in their squad.
I think they'll struggle a bit more next season (unless they invest really well) as they'll be playing probably 8-10 CL games (with plenty of travelling) which will see them pick up more fatigue and injuries, and although they will still be deadly teams will surely start devising new ways of trying to combat their strike partnership.
