As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

you look at other starlets pingpongs age - Luke shaw, ross barkley, janujaz etc etc - they are not all over twitter, doing records T shirts etc.
their clubs keep them on a tight rein and keep their feet on the ground.
we don't, we pamper them and indulge their outside activities - like we are indulging Wongas trip to brazil for 3 weeks when he should be back in europe negotiating new signings with agents and clubs.
What do you think LIverpool would say to Rodgers if he wanted 3 weeks off in Brazil, or Pelligrini at City. sod off, they'd be told "stay at home, and do the job you're paid for."
same same to the kids.
Blame the club? There is only so much they can do, why don't you have a go at his parents??? We have plenty of kids at Arsenal who have tried to focus on professional careers whether they are first team material or not.
The Arsenal used to expect standards from its players - one of them was not to be a knob.
I remember some on here arguing that we should get off his back because he "loves the club" and we could do with more who "play with passion and desire" like him. It doesn't matter how much he loves the club when he's a total embarrassment on and off the pitch. He was more concerned about the dench bollocks than developing his talent and helping himself carve out a successful career at the club he supposedly loves.

Luke Shaw and Ross Barkley are both on Twitter, they are just a lot more grounded than Frimpong. He obviously thought he had made it at Arsenal and took his eyes off the prize. Compare his dench crap and running battles with Piers Morgan etc to the reaction Luke Shaw got when he went into Burger King on the M4 after Southampton's game at Swansea the other day and you gather they are completely different people.
Teens will make mistakes but they aren't 13 they are legally grown men responsible for their own actions etc. he and Wilshere came through the same youth team and look at the paths they have both taken. Wilshere has made his mistakes but knows football comes first, can you say the same about frimpong?
He's left the club, he can do what he likes - he's not embarassing us anymore.
I am surprised all this dench crap was ever let go on by the club, one thing is for certain in terms of media and the spotlight the club has done a lot over the past few years to curb any bullshit or stories coming out on in the papers. But then of course you have that nobhead bentdner who never failed
I think young players deserve some leeway, I mean sometimes we're pretty hard on these guys who are just kids really (one example was JW being caught smoking). But there's limits, and Frimpong seemingly grew tiresome for these clubs.
He really did look the real deal. In his defence he was robbed of a vital season in his development by a bad injury - that season he looked like he was going to be slotting into DMF on occasion but then he got crocked in the preseason IIRC. Hasn't looked the same since - perhaps that weighs into it more than we consider.
Anyway, best he can do now is get humbled, cut his trade as a blue-collar lad in League One or the Championship, and try and work himself back up to the EPL standard. He's got a good youth pedigree, but now he's going to have to work hard rather than rely on top training, reputation and potential. Otherwise it'll probably be pumping petrol for a living...

I'd argue that he never looked like the real deal. But we all see different things so...
Been seen at Storm Graz training ground, even tweeted a picture of it.
Their general manger says they are keen on him and if medical goes well,a 2 yr contract is on offer.
My advice to him if he gets it,ditch the "Dench " sh*te, shutdown your twitter page and get back to what you are a Footballer.
Despite what some on here think,he may not be the best in his position but he showed enough promise when he was younger to be a decent Cm. With grounding at the Arsenal from being a kid,we know he should have the technical ability.
So good luck to him. But he has to appreciate this is very much last chance saloon for his fledgling yet dying rapidly professional footballing career.

Especially after he had his ear bitten off by Mike Tyson!!

Next stop is McDonald's for Mr Frimpmong.
How exactly do we know that he wasn't working his arse off? Because the guy has an instagram account?

DId you ever see the picture of his horrendous motor with the projection of him grabbing Nasri when the door was opened?
Bloke thought he had made it as a teenager and has let petty distractions get in the way. I wish him well but he needs to figure out what he wants out of life because his career is falling into he toilet.
