Re: Medical team OUT
at least Diaby has some company for the rest of the season.
I can't help thinking that the reason Kallstrom was signed because Wenger knew back in January that Ramsey wouldn't return again this season.

Re: Medical team OUT
Wenger might have known back in January but he didn't know about Kallstroms back!

Re: Arsenal to investigate & review medical & training metho
Yet another facet of the club that is a total and utter laughing stock. Where a grazed knee becomes a career-threatening ACL overnight.

Re: Medical team OUT
They did a review of fitness and medical procedure a couple of years ago, they knew there was a problem then.Herd wrote:
There has to be something in this but they have only just recognised there is a problem .
But they did not solve it.

Re: Arsenal to investigate & review medical & training metho
Well we either get a grip on our injuries and reduce them, or forget about winning anything.
A bigger squad will just mean more people to fill the infirmary with, but at least we could rotate more, without having to use the current 2nd string rubbish we have.
My understanding of injuries especially muscular ones can have triggers (red zone) but can be managed and prevented.
My problem is that Arsene is so insular that he probably won't ask for outside help, or a consultant from another company or team. The people we have are clearly unable to do anything about it , so I'm sure they can tick a box which says 'not my fault' , but we need a drastic solution, we need change!
If we need to rotate that we better splash the cash or better quality recruits. But it is pointless season after after season, thinking we might do something if X stays fit, because they won't.

Medical team
Club Injuries Player Condition Expected Return*
Arsenal 3 A Oxlade-Chamberlain Groin/Pelvis Injury no date
R Miyaichi Hamstring Injury no date
T Walcott ACL Knee Injury 68 months
From the online gooner sick bay , 68 months that's a slow return even for our medical teams past performance!

Re: Medical team
Yeah he'll be coming back in early 2020 and no doubt Wenger will still be there and start playing him 90 minutes every game on his return from injury until he breaks down again.Herd wrote:No 68 months for Walcott is about right !
Re: Medical team
speaking of the medical team....how is that "investigation" coming along? you know, the one to look into why we had half the squad out at various times for 4-6 weeks at a stretch? did the report get tucked away in the F.A. cup when they put it on the shelf for display?
Re: Medical team
Sounds like Abou is fully fit and raring to go then

Just fcuking wonderful........first arsole wenker signs for another 3 years and now this injury ridden crock is back to piss me off - not sure this summer can get much worse

Be interesting to see whether he remains fit this time - would be very coincidental if he suddenly returns to full fitness when an investigation into medical issues is launched

Re: Medical team
The thought of a fully fit Abou playing for his new contract this season is enough to make we want it to be August already mate ! I'm getting the impression you're not sharing those emotionsaugie wrote:SteveO 35 wrote:Sounds like Abou is fully fit and raring to go then
