As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Fair fixture list, big games reasonably spread out and split fairly home/away. Piss easy start for United. Thought City had a tough list first glance but thinking about it I think it could favour them - they play Liverpool, Chavs, United and Spurs home first 10 games or so and us away. If they keep up their great home form and start strongly they could then cruise through their easy fixture list until Christmas and have a substantial gap then. Tbh my view on City is same as last few years - if they perform to something like their best they'll win the league.
first thing to consider is that we have 2 away games back to back at the end of August - but between then we have the qualifying match for the be all and end all, so you have to factor in us sacrificing one of those games.
Much better than last year.
Nice balance to the fixtures without any nightmare months.
Pleased we have a London Derby on Boxing Day.
Aside from Everton, a relatively easy start as well.
we will be doing well to be in the top 4 by the end of October - United have by far the easiest start to the season, I expect them to be early leaders this season

Sorry, mate - but you seem to be inferring that Arsene won't build a fantastic squad from all the world class players he is surrounded by out in Brazil...
I always think the first 3 games before the first international break are big psychologically. If we take 7 or 9 points as we should we will be pleased with that as the dust settles and we go into a fortnight break pretty positive (other than lack of signings probably!). We then come back refreshed with a good chance of turning over City and Scum at home in the next gew games.
If we start poorly with 4 points or whatever though, the mood will be really negative and we're almost staring down the barrel with City, Spurs and Chavs in the next 4 games. Thankfully the first 3 fixtures are overall kind although Everton is a tricky trip.
We also play 8 PL games in less than 5 weeks between 29th Nov and 1st Jan - apart from Mousers away we have a piss-easy run and a great chance to rack up quick points.
As it stands-
