Carling cup: KIDS vs TALENTLESS SPUDS

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

No I don't think so. Had you booed them off then that would have been bad, but electing not to applaud a performance because in your opinion the performance didn't warrant applause is okay, In my opinion

Two things we learned from last nights awful performance was that the back up midfielders and the centre halves are not good enough.Denilson and Diaby were both shocking but by far the worst player on the pitch was Gilberto, here is a player who has won a world cup and still plays for Brazil but cannot pass the ball to say his life. How many times did he give the ball away.To think we may lose Diarra and keep him.Unbelievable.

As for the two centre halves time and time again they were cut open by the Spuds.I have never been a big fan of Senderos but Djorou was worse. Our best centre half last night was Hoyte.I would be a worried man if i was William Gallas knowing that Senderos or Djouro may be my partner on saturday

Yes we can laugh and say the Spuds still cant beat us but do we really have a hope at Shite Hart Lane if we play the same team that played last night.I think not

Donaldo that was exactly my point last night :!: All right I did go off on a bit of a rant(nothing new there then  ) but as me,gus, rebel & many more have said for months our back-up is not as good as they are made out to be and nowhere near good enough to drive us towards a league title. We need 2 or 3 quality players brought in now(esp a keeper) or else the hard work done by the players to this point will be lost, as has happened before, due to a lack of cover for injuries, suspensions etc. Do we think wenger will buy anyone though ? Fcuk no
