Sky TV and free Sat 16th

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Get on ebay and get yourself and Android box, £59 all in with every sports, film and porn channel you could wish for to stream.

Football on Sats at 3, not HD quality but better than watching it on PC.

Fuck Sky, fuck BT.

Usually some offers floating around. I think there's an offer on for half price movies and sport for 6 months if you're not already a movies subscriber. You can also watch our home game for free on Saturday:
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news ... -first-day

Edit: as below, the correct link confirming free Sky Sports this Saturday is: http://www.sky.com/tv/show/skysportsope ... isSaturday

Nope, it's a current offer expiring on 21 August 2014 - I was sent a mailshot by Sky last week and it appears as an offer for existing Sky customers who don't have Sky Movies when I log into my account on Sky and select "offers" at https://buy.sky.com/offers-upgrades/get-offers.

Here's the correct page for the free Sky Sports for the day this Saturday:
http://www.sky.com/tv/show/skysportsope ... isSaturday
(presumably Sky do this annually to reel people in)

Rubbish

Last year sky sports was on free view for 1 day.
There is no such offer this year

Did you actually click on the link? I think you might owe Simon an apology.

Nowhere does it suggest Skysports is on freeview this Saturday

If I may be so rude as to interject... although Rob appears to be getting bafflingly wound up by this, the two offers are different. Last year it was available "to every home in Britain" on freeview, this year it's only available to the select group of existing Sky TV customers who don't have the sports package.

The thread is headed Sky TV. I simply wanted to let anyone who has Sky know that there is an offer for half price movies and sport for 6 months and that Sky Sports is free on the Sky platform this Saturday. This is correct.

I accidentally posted an incorrect link from last year which was subsequently corrected in two posts, so there would be no doubt.

Really don't know why I bother trying to be helpful sometimes, as it seems there's no pleasing some folk
