If he is then we're fucked!
I think this will be a tough one but we should just about edge it. They'll be right up for it from the start and will probably take the lead (as they are often prone to do). 1-2 Arsenal.

Bigger test for Ospina and Coquelin, bigger than City as the expectations will be higher and against them the stakes are certainly higher. Big question is who drops out for Sanchez who, if fit, must start. Think it will be Theo myself.
Don't think we will lose.

Think he should drop Ozil and bring in Rosicky. Sanchez for Theo.
We could have a bench of Ozil, Theo and Welbeck. Not bad

Martin Atkinson is referee according to PL website, not sure how to read that.
Anyway early goal to them but we'll still win 1-3 COYG

Rosicky always plays well aganst the filth, so as someone already said - IF Alexis is fully fit - play him instead of Theo and play Rosicky instead of Ozil - Can always bring on Theo for more pace and Ozil into the centre slot for Cazorla late in the game.
The filth with a few recent good games will belive they can win this - We have the better team and players - They will be more nervous - we can take em....NLD's are never straight forward - But we have the Class and a New belief...they are the Filth...all depends on if it turns into a kicking bout or if they try and play football - If they do...we can win....

Just checked the prem league website - and it IS Atkinson, would have preferred someone like Clattenburg - Atkinson has been to known to 'bottle it' in derby games in favour of the home team.GoonerMuzz wrote:Martin Atkinson is referee according to PL website, not sure how to read that.

Re: THE MIDDLESEX SWAMP DWELLERS AWAY THREAD
I do not know the full extent of our injuries.
But I reckon Wenger will take few chances, knowing he has a surfeit of attacking midfielders.
In contrast to his old way of bringing players back too soon, I think he will try to make sure players return for the Monaco game mid-February rather than rushed back earlier.
Sanchez supposedly injured his hamstring last week.
Hamstrings are typically 3 - 6 weeks.
Welbeck has yet to be on the bench since his injury.
It appears to be a thigh strain, I think at best he will be on the bench for Spurs.
The Ox is listed with a groin strain, that could take a while yet.

Perfection will well and truly be perfected, if we are the team to ruin the party for these knuckle dragging quunts.
They're high riding at the moment - similar to us - but we are The Arsenal and they are scum, so a bit of reckoning won't go amiss when we decimate that loathsome, rotten lot over at their swamp.
1-3.

Rosicky and Walcott should start - both up their game when we face these cu*ts.
We're flying at the minute and our team is full of goal scorers; defence has been resolute ever since we dropped Szczesny (who would've thought? ), it is a derby so form means little but I can't see anything but a win for us.
1-3.

Re: THE FUCK THE VERMIN THREAD!!
If it's a hammy I'd be surprised to see Sanchez back in time for the trip to the shithole.
I'm fucked if I know why (and I might live to regret it) but I actually have a positive feeling about this one!
I think we will fuck them 0-3 and rub our spunk all over their faces too.
Think we should start Rosicky, he always seems up for this one (bit like Bobby used to be).
Also, I always get the impression the vermin don't like teams taking it to them and we are far more direct with Rosicky on there.
Hate these fucking vermin.
Up The Arsenal!

Re: THE MIDDLESEX SWAMP DWELLERS AWAY THREAD
This game is going to show everyone just how useful / useless Coquelin truly is. Everyone saw how Eriksen mugged Matic off in that 5-3, and Matic is quite easily the best holding midfielder anywhere in Europe right now. So that doesn't bode well for Coquelin - although he might contain him. We've been told a lot about how Wenger is now adapting tactics, so I expect to see two banks of four, well structured when Arsenal don't have the ball. I also expect to never see the sight of Kane running at Mertesacker because that's a dead race. And I also would expect to not see Ozil skipping challenges, and the full-backs caught way up the pitch in ridiculous positions.
