As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

bobbybigb wrote:In the minority here i know, but i reckon we will win and win convincingly. When we played spuds last month i just felt that we would lose due to their hunger as underdogs and the motivation to gain some form of revenge for our ongoing and usual superiority. I also felt that the law of averages will sooner than later kick in and work against us.
For the above reasons i feel that Monday will belong to us.
When you play 180 minutes against a David Moyes managed united, and don't score, then what does it say. Infact by the time we met them at the Emirates, we drew with them, and they had completely given up on playing for Moyes at that stage. Even go back to ferguson's last season, and we drew with them 1-1, after they had been out on the piss all week celebrating winning the league. We haven't beaten them at OT since 2006, so don't expect anything different this time around.
Walcott and Rosicky to come on in the 2nd half as super-subs
No Cazorla?
We are going to win this one.
I believe....
Seriously though, they are worse than last year, we got not excuses, been a massive effort getting time off work and sorting out travel, they better turn up.
They could bring in a bunch of ringers from League Two and they'd still win at a canter. I fully expect us to freeze like so many French soldiers circa 1940 in the face of inferior opposition.
We stink in their back yard.
Easy 2 or 3-1 victory to them and our season is fucking over.
Why does anybody think we will win? The team will do their usual up there and lose, wenger has only ever won 4 games at old trafford and nothing will change next week.

Will Jonny Evans be playing ? certainly Scholsey stood up for his old mate with his "not that kind of player" cliche , but Match of the Day images look fairly damning for him. how must Falcao feel. ? 0-0 going into last minutes of a game and he is overlooked ?
Yup! they really are - Only one team can decide how this goes and that is THE Arsenal....If ..... IF we turn up we can beat them....it all depends which Arsenal turn up - The rabbit caught in the headlights bunch of quivering pussified prima donna's OR The team that digs deep holds a good defence from mid-field with Santi & Alexis breaking at pace....we need to play like we did against $hitty - If IF we do we can turn the granny shagging wig wearer and the rest of the manc fllth over.
When they came to the Bowl and won in November their defence was Blackett, Smalling, McNair, Fatty Shaw and Valencia. It took us until stoppage time to score
I actually think one of the reasons this time will be different (I hope) is because of Coquelin. He is one player I feel will not shirk, it's been a while since we've had a midfielder with any sort of steel about them and I think he will revel in the "battle" if they want to try the rough stuff. Mind you he'll probably be sent off for two minor challenges while no United player is booked.
