Bournemouth in EPL

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What part of it is unacceptable? Why can't we any longer accept a small stadium?
Most countries have minimum standards for stadiums. Bournemouth have got to improve and increase facilities for the media plus other bits and pieces.

Where you set the limit is debatable, but I would have thought that 15,000 minimum in the first year and 20,000 by year 2 were reasonable.

Would Brighton's 8,000 be OK?

I think access for fans is important.
Access for which fans exactly? Away fans that will only buy one ticket into their ground a season? Bournemouth don't owe the rest of the league anything.

Furthermore, why should they be forced into expensive improvements due to their success? Those costs, should they not stay up, could ruin their club. Doubling capacity over two years is a monumental expense.
