ARSENALS FINANCIAL YEAR

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I hope Stan Kroenke dies.

Not doing Americans' reputation in football any favors at all. Might feel differently if he ever attended matches.

that is not going to help.
everything is being passed to his son Josh anyway who was elected to the board last year.
and he will be even worse....

Hmmm, so what exactly is this much needed advice that has cost £6m in 2 years? And how did we survive over 125 years as a club without it?

I am of course assuming the latest £3m is for completely fresh advice and not a repeat of the advice given for the initial £3m. Because that would be like giving money for old rope ... and there is no place for that sort of thing at a club like Arsenal. Is there Arsene?

Yes.

I just thought that if Arsenal are doling out monies for 'consultancy' I'd try my luck. Gotta be worth a couple of hundred grand I reckon.

Thank Lord those chaps at Red Action had a street protest that effectively told Usmanov (who is so rich he wouldn't take a penny out of the club) to sod off, and basically publicly declared their love for Conman Kroenke. So that effectively guarantees the Trio of Doom of: Le Tool + Gazidis + Kroenke for the foreseeable future.
Can't wait for The Cook to come on here and tell how he "already been explained" that bloody ridiculous episode that embarrassed the club. Hope Kroenke sent you a used thong in the post to sniff....

As far as I am concerned, the cook and his buddies can come out with any kind of bullshit excuse they like but it wont make the slightest bit of difference until they right the wrong that they did - if they are not in the club's pocket, then they should be coming out organising a protest against kroenke for the way our club has been run  I know that they claim that the infamous march wasn't endorsed by all their members, but the reality is that it was redaction members and redaction banners that were at the front of the march.
I have read The Cook making comments about how their group will not involve themselves in the politics of the club again, but how can a group claiming to represent fans just stand idly by as the club we all love is being fleeced by the sweat shop walmart c.unt ? Even if redaction didn't want to align themselves with usmanov (or any other interested party), that should not stop them coming out publicly against kroenke and organising protests against the yank c.unt  Of course the problem is that should they protest against kroenke, they will then quickly find themselves off the invite list for any of those fake/cosmetic bullshit meetings that the club organises with it's fans - obviously I am using the word "fans" loosely there, cos no person claiming to love The Arsenal would put their own selfish perks above the needs of the club, and our club needs a massive public shake-up

Absolutely no chance mate; they made themselves look idiotic with that anti-Usmanov march. You'd probably have more chance of seeing Wenger and Mourinho go on a romantic dinner-date than of REDaction admitting they made a total bollocks up of their last dalliance with club politics.

Frankly speaking 3 million notes a year is peanuts in the grand scheme of things !
There are many ways of siphoning money out of football clubs ,especially when you build new stadiums and redevelop the old one, just ask Danny Fizman ( Oh sorry he's dead isnt he !)
Out sourced ,Catering contracts are a good one too not to mention overpaying transfer fees and taking a kickback offshore.

No sorry 3 million is nothing !
