Zagreb at home.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You referring to the comp or our continued involvement in it?? Nothing wrong with the actual comp, Arsenal on the other hand.........

If your excitement is contigent on our competitive involvement it doesn't matter what the format is.And not just this year, any year.

What I'm saying is the group stages are just an absolute borefest. Lessen the amount of teams and bring it back to knockout format and you'll have a competition again.

Of course that will never happen because of the money generated

Think Arsenal will turn up tonight , mainly because Zagreb are piss poor , and prolong this misery. I wouldn't write off Arsenal qualifying from the group with the media and fan sheep proclaiming it as Wenger's greatest achievement

I suppose both, really. Our involvement in it is fucking pathetic and the whole competition is a bloated, corrupt bore-fest whose sole purpose is to feed the egos of the richest clubs and players.

I think we all want to see the team do well regardless of the opposition but deep down we know that even if we managed to scrape through these group stages it's only prolonging the inevitable of when we're knocked out by any one of the half decent teams in the next round.
