Bindippers away Wed 20.00

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I've heard they will accept turning up drunk, late and aggressive in lieu of a ticket.

Failing that rob one off one of your own fans at the gate.

Was gonna say that you could ask your friends to lean out the windows and lift you in through the windows, but then I remembered that they only do that in cup finals that are held weeks after some of their fellow fans were crushed to death

At times Im afraid all we get from BFG is a BF Dummy

See this type of comment totally undermines the campaign against BFG - Mertesacker wasn't even playing yesterday and the original comment was clearly directed at kos, so why bother brining in the BFG into it ?? When BFG is playing and there is a defensive balls up then it is automatically his fault, but now even when he is not playing any defensive balls up is his fault  Call the BFG slow or cowardly and I will have no probs with that, but at least have the courage to blame the other centre halves when they suffer one of their brainless f.uck ups, because they do make them more often than seems to be recognised by the fans
 WTF Augie, chill mate, didnt watch the game till today ( ), so didnt see any step overs, was merely pointing out that BFG all too often stands like and behaves like a Dummy, which as you point out seems to be the case....

Either way, no need to spit your Dummy out

Kolo and Sakho have declaredthemselves fit for Wednesday.

Our strikers (such as they are) should have a field day.

If the Mousers play their part we should win 0-3 comfortably. But then you just never know which Arsenal will turn up. We could win 0-5 or scrape a 1-1 draw or even lose 2-1. Who fucking knows!

Augie, let the BFG love-in go, mate. He is absolute shit nowadays. Yes he used to be able to read the game well and didn't need pace or mobility, but he can't even read the game anymore. He is well past his sell by date. And I can forgive and understand all of that; it happens to the best players eventually. What I dislike and can't forgive is his cowardice - the turning his back on shots and ducking out of aerial challenges. Unforgivable in a CH. :x

He can still read the game well but at the same time he should no longer be first choice at a club intent on winning the bigger trophies.
The reason why I (over)reacted is because sometimes it seems that some Gooners want to blame the BFG for everything regardless of whether it was his fault or not, and that is what I thought theoperator was doing (apologies buddy  ). It seems that most fans want gabriel in the team if for no other reason than the fact that he isnt mertesacker - yes I know that is faster and more agressive than the BFG, but is that enough ? Earlier this season we conceded a goal due to the most amateur defending ever seen in the league, and if gabriel did it playing for your local sunday parks team, then he would be subbed straight away  Gabriel might well be a great centre back but he has yet to show it imo but some fans seem far too eager to sweep his and kos's fuk ups under the carpet as if they never happened, and that pisses me off

What I lobve /hate about this team is we can fuck things up from almost any position on the park just as when we are good each of them can look like worldbeaters,or at leats in this instance scouse beaters !

As Db says no-one has a firkin clue what will happen or what they will do on the night but you can probably tell after 20 mins !

It will be borderline pathetic if we can't score at last a couple past a centre back pairing of Kolo and Steven Caulker, plus whichever yoof they put in goal.

This is Arsenal though, we're throwing in a truly shit game at least 1 in every 3 at the moment.

I think we've been playing a bit shit a bit more than 1 in 3, but we've got away with some.
