I suppose the 8-2 is the worst, but all of them are sackable offences, to be honest :banghead:

There are plenty of examples of shocking humiliations back in the pre Wenger days, York, Wrexham, Walsall, Luton at Wembley to name but a few the important word here is shocking, they were shocks just some of those strange shocks that football throws up now and then.

Who can honestly say, yesterday was a shock, in fact all the mentions above have become less of a shock as time goes on, Its got to the stage where I really thought we'd fuck it up and draw yesterday, but no Wenger's team manages to plumb greater depths still.

The difference between now and then is of course the genuine shocks that I mentioned at the top seemed to come from nowhere, because Arsenal teams back then rarely bottled it, yes we might play shit and get stuffed usually in games we were expected to win, but used to respond well to pressure and thats been the biggest turnaround in that we can lose any game at any time now, if we seriously needed a point to win the league at home to a relegated Villa in the last game would you really fancy us to do it?

Went for yesterdays result for two reasons, the difference in supposed level of the two teams but more importantly because of how important a win yesterday would have been in terms of statement of intent and to get the OT league monkey off our back :banghead:

They're all very bad and Sunday was near the top of the list but I went for the 2-1 defeat to Birmingham. Cup final, against a shitty team when we had not won a cup at all in 8 years.

Wigan away 3-2 from 2nil up was also a shocker.I hate what le bumhole has done to our once great club :( he has turned us into pampered pussyholes with zero bottle. How many points will we get from our next 3aways in the league? Spuds everton and west ham..i would be astounded if we won any of these games.

8-2 game for me. Was the most embarrassed I've ever been, Wenger should have walked 10 minutes after that one

Sunday was the worst for me, because they just simply didn't look like they really gave a shit.

The 8-2 didn't affect me as much because we had players out there that have since never played for us again, or were replaced soon after - we had so many players out that day, with the 6-0 they were just better than us and we looked weak and had a man less. Both were a joke, but Sunday was worse, the least I expect is effort and pride in the shirt - they showed neither.

Whats worse they are underlining the fact that when the pressure is really on, they fold. Wont win anything with an attitude like that.

Nah, never managed. Just a player. A few lads on my team manage kids' teams and I've helped out at a few training sessions. Been tempted to take on managing my son's team as his current coach is a bit shite. But I wouldn't have the time to do the job justice tbh. I'm probably over-qualified for Arsene's job!

Does he sit on his arse the entire game, giving no instructions at all to his team; getting up only to abuse the referee and flap his arms like a child throwing a tantrum? :rubchin:

Agree 100% with this, the most shambolic performance I have witnessed in recent years.

Two-nil up after 80 minutes and we lost 3-2. Even Titus Bramble scored.

The final whistle went and they couldn't get off the field quick enough, to run down the tunnel.

I wrote to the club and complained about this performance, and the downright disrespect shown by the players and manager not acknowledging the travelling support - first and last time I was that angry enough to do something about it. I had a reply from 'Wenger' apologising, and indicating he would speak to the players about it and it would not happen again.

Then fuck me, about 3 weeks later, it did happen again. One-nil up at Blackburn, and we lost 2-1. Even Chris Samba scored.

3-1 defeat to Monaco last season at home, that was a night the team really didn't turn up.

Utd did still have de gea, carrick, blind, rojo, schneiderlin, mata and depay in the starting line up, good solid professional players (okay maybe not depay), with the fear free exuberance of youth.
