Ronaldo was shit and didn't look interested frankly. No surprises that he presumably insisted on 5th pen. Bale showed him up completely.

Benzema has cemented my perception of him as a slightly better Giroud. Little bit more pace, better touch and moves more but for the lead striker at that club he offers such little threat.

Ronaldo has been pretty anonymous for most of the game. Bale has been seriously superb - without doubt one of the best players on the planet for me. As if he used to play for Spurs

Have to agree with NB123 here. I had this argument with TottnumbItchyBaba this season. Benzema is without doubt faster and more skilful than Giroud. That's a given. But he is not the huge improvement some seem to think, especially when you compare the nature of the Spanish league to that of the PL. You stick him in our shit stagnant version of tippy tappy 4-5-1 and he would struggle to hit 20+ PL goals, accordingly if you stuck Giroud in that Madrid team he'd (probably ) score more than he does in our system with fucking Ramsey choking the game to death. TBH Benzema looked like Giroud on a bad day throughout the CL final. He offered nothing.

It was a poor final in general and the amount of ladyboy diving and carrying on was embarrassing, but I've seen worse from those Spanish teams. The cúnt Pepe is an embarrassment to humanity, an absolute fucking mong cúnt.
