City should have routed Utd, they looked brilliant going forward. Pep will have tougher games but they do look like they've raised their level this season. Thought Utd midfield was a bit soft on city. No challenges, no bullying when considering the size of Pogba and fellaini.
Everton are a good team, now lazy Lukaku has scored they'll be pushing hard. Williams is a great signing for them, as is Steklenberg. They'll finish above Liverpool, who I thought were a bit fortunate against Leicester. Once it was back to 2-1 I thought the Champions dominated. Liverpool play in fits and starts and still can't defend. Didn't see much of Chelski, and frankly all the over critical hype of Costa is unnecessary. He reminds me of Mark Hughes in the way he plays. I don't understand all the "not in the spirit of the game" comments. If Giroud was half as much of a git as Costa, he'd be appreciated a lot more.
Talking of Hughes looks like he's gonna be the first PL manager to get the sack. Wouldn't be surprised if Pulis returns to Stoke... again.

Costa is a fucking cheat. He is a scumbag, an eye-gouging, elbowing, biting, head-butting, spitting, pinching, throat-grabbing, stamping, sneak-punching, diving cheat. He's the worst cúnt for it in the PL. How you can say the "over critical hype of Costa is unnecessary" is beyond me. The dirty bastard should have been sent off in 3 games so far this season ffs. :roll: :x

And the worst thing is it's all bluff with him, he's a coward at heart. He knows he can carry on like that because the ref and the other players will always pull him away before it gets serious. He's like that mouthy cúnt in your local that picks a fight and then gets behind his mates yelling "Don't hold me back!!" but praying they do. I'd love to see someone call him out proper and just lamp the cúnt a decent punch in the mouth. He'd be on the ground crying like a bitch in 1 second flat. :roll:

You seem to be confusing being strong with being a dirty cowardly fucker. Here, have a read of this;

Good article...but it misses out on the fact he is a very good player and scorer of goals. DB10 and Wrighty certainly had a dirty side which was been forgotten about. We used to have CB like Costa which are much adored and much missed. We need a mean fucker of a player in our team. Simply ask yourself this who would you have playing through the middle Costa or Giroud? Costa or Theo? Costa or Sanchez?

Oh I agree he is a top striker. You are 100% bang on there. But for me he goes beyond what we used to call "having an edge" into being an actual all-out cheat and scumbag. There has to be a reasonable line regarding what is acceptable and he crosses it continuously.

Also, I think we should qualify what Wrighty and Bergkamp did by mentioning the era they played in. That was a time when it was open season on strikers and particularly on flair players. I remember Alan Hansen once watching an Arsenal match and he counted something like 40 fouls committed on Bergkamp alone, the ref only giving 2 or 3 as free kicks. To survive as a Wrighty or a Bergkamp in those days you had to have the ability to mix it up and give some back. But that's different to the soft as shite modern game where there is no justification for what Costa does, in my view anyway.

As for the question; I have to be honest and say whilst I'd rate Costa ahead of any of our current forwards, I'd never want to see such a lowlife in the once proud colours of The Arsenal.

If we never won a league title again by current standards it would take them until the year 2662 before the equalled our tally...by which time Wenger might have just left.

But it doesn't end in a 1!

Pogba's name backwards is Luap Abgop. Which makes no sense, just like United paying 89m for him.

Make that 5 games, 0 goals, 0 assists from the most expensive player in history.
