FA CUP V SOTON

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I concur.Worthy winners over the 2legs 8)

I fear they will brownhole us on Saturday..1 or 2 nil.
1 0r 2 nil does not qualify as a brownholing

1 or 2 nil is just an accident.

4 or 5 is a brownholing

6 is a total gubbing

8 is a massacre.

There is every chance this game could turn out to be a Right Big Pile Of VERY SMELLY DOO DOO!

Defeat at Southampton, Chavs and Bayern could be on the cards

1-0 is special circumstances
2-0 is illusionary domination
3-0 is a leeetle Jaded ( unless it in Sheffield then you blame the kids you sent out like sacrificial lambs)
4-0 is lacking sharpness..
5-0 or above is a "Scouser" everyone else's fault.

Dito - they were well organized against Scousers & deserved the win. Even with our full side out there I still think we'd struggle against this lot. :barscarf: :barscarf:

Is Wenger banned from the sideline for this, or when does that pointless ban start?

He wants a personal hearing despite admitting the charge so he'll be on the bench for this one. He's probably delaying it so if it's a short ban he is definitely not on the touchline away to the Chavs.

Remember a few years ago he got banned in the CL for 6 games,we won 5 of them while he wasn't on the bench,if we are lucky he will get a10 match stadium ban.

I won't be satisfied with anything less than a 10 match worldwide stadium ban

Can you imagine our lot at Anfield.... a terror filled, panic stricken afternoon, scampering out of there with our tail between our legs. Southampton went there & won. We'll lose on Sunday...pretty much guaranteed... followed by losses to both Bayern & Chelsea. So as usual, by the end of February, our season will be over.

1 or 2 or even 3 nil is bumholing/brownholing territory in falkirk gooner speak 8)
4 or 5 is a turdholing/ringholing/jobbyholing (wee scottish word here) 8)

6 and above is a an anal reaming/backdooring/backdoor massacre..

the fact that we've had a few of the 4 5 6 and above versions in recent years says all we need to know about the king of the self inflicted bumholing himself..le bumhole king of the bumholings
