Bayern Munich (A) | CL R16 | Wed 15 Feb 19:45

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There won't be one mate cos if there's one thing about the Germans is that they're incredibly efficient and correct about things and would never leave the house without bumholing lube, if giving a bumholing is the plan.

They wouldn't just willy nilly give a bumholing without some kind of insurance. :D :barscarf:

I don't think Bayern are as strong as last season but there again I might be wrong.

our only chance is to play tight but have a fast counter option .we arent good enough to let them come right on top without keeping them honest at the back. if we play with open abandon we will get mullered.

I'd guess they will let Arsenal have the ball and lure them high and attack us with fast paced counterattacks. They know that our central midfield is dross so they'll probably use this. All they need to do is watch Chelsea replay and there you have your game plan.

We will lose this 3-0.

No doubt it'll hang over us for weeks - thanks to the CL's dumb scheduling - and ruin our FA Cup and VT run :banghead:

Excellent work Sean, yet again!

I would love to see Welbeck and Perez start here. Along with Sanchez, that is a dynamic front three which really could cause Bayern problems.

However, fully expect to see the statuesque Giroud start along with Walcott and Bayern will be able to shut us down with ease.

It's hard to see us still being in with a chance come the second leg. Hope to see some surprises in the line up.

The only chance we have is to keep our roaming defence tight, not let the full back bomb forward and just keep compact and hope to feed off scraps.
