Plastic pitch though Steve...it's a leveler!!
I remember being at Luton for a replay mid 80s...we booed them off the pitch that night too!!!

We can't fuck this one up, can we?

CAN WE?!?!?
I'm not so sure I can tell who our pub team is at the moment?

What I do know is that Wenger, after carefully studying Suttons strengths & weaknesses, will put out the best possible team to counteract them in every position.

He probably told the team when they got back from Germany...see you all at Sutton on Monday night. Be there at 7, if anybody is late I'm going to be jolly angry...run along now.

Oh...... and forget about tonight's little setback...after all it was Bayern.

:suicide:

Not this time there won't be. After smashing Sutton, we start March away to Liverpool , followed by Munich at home and then a Tony Pulis WBA away. Does anyone seriously see wins in any of those games?
Go into April with City and then Boro and Spurs away and tell me any different.
Sutton - 0-6 win. Agree
Liverpool are as inconsistent as we are - winnable - Winnable?? Our last win at Anfield was 5 years ago. LOSE
Bayern will put out their reserves and we will get either a draw or a "moral victory" 2-1 at home, LOSE - Reserves or not they will turn us over
WBA - see Liverpool.
Wenger beat a Tony Pulis team away from home??

April;
Citeh - again inconsistent and beatable. DRAW
Boro - relegation fodder. and desperate for a win - Draw
Scum away - can't see us win there tbh, still a possible draw as many NLD's are. Hate to say it but they are on the up and better than us LOSE

You forget he only needs 3 or 4 results somewhere in there and the media are calling WOB Gooners ungrateful bastards again and the AKB's are saying "told you so" again. Where you been for the last decade?
Liverpool - Anfield is no longer an issue. The Mousers are terrible there this season. Their last 5 home games have been WDLLL. Klopp is not the saviour they thought and there are already rumblings of this in the media. Knocked out of both cups, their season is effectively over. Not guaranteed, but deffo winnable. Even a draw there will be hailed as an "achievement".

Bayern will be either a draw or a Pyhrric victory, typical of Wenger.

WBA - Pulis is not the jinx he was at Stoke. His WBA team are wildly inconsistent. Beatable.

Citeh - winnable but a draw would be sold by the AKB as a "great result" against "Pep".

Boro - desperation does not make you a good side. They are shit. Deffo win.

Scum - again, it's the NLD, no way to predict it but draw is likely, certainly possible.

For some reason you've also left out the fact that we have Leicester, Sunderland and Palace in that period - three absolute nailed on bankers for us. Didn't suit the agenda, huh?

The point is Wenger does not need to win all those games, he only needs a run of 4 or 5 wins (maybe even a "plucky draw" or two as well) somewhere in there and the fickle media and Keown and Merson and Cross and the AKB are back in the Wenger fold. We have seen this for 10 years now. When he needs that little flat track bully run of results to quieten the doubters in the media he gets it and thus one terrible result against Bayern is not enough in itself to be a game changer. If the 8-2 humiliation at Old Toilet didn't see him off, no single loss ever will - as he always gets that little run of results he needs.

Groundhog Season. Wash rinse repeat. :suicide:

I disagree

Liverpool are starting to find form again and will easily brush us aside.

City will do the same

The other three games are winnable

I think the NLD will be the game that will be the final nail. Our spineless pansies will crumble.

I also believe that he has lost most of the dressing room. Listening to the same shite every year sometimes you just can't help yourself from turning even if you fully don't want to

"Starting to find form again"???  Liverpool have had TWO wins in the last 10 games (and one of those was against lowly Plymouth), including 2 cup exits and a record 3 home losses in a row... Seriously mate you can't just make shit up!

NLD could be any result. Form seldom dictates local derbies. They often buck the trend.

So that's "possibly" 3 loses in 8 games for Wenger?

There is not a chance in hell he has lost the dressing room outside of Sanchez and maybe Ozil. The rest owe their undeserved huge salaries to him. He mollycoddles them, never publicly slaughters them, pays them insane money to "express themselves" and there are never consequences for failure. They fucking LOVE him!

Seriously though, outside of Sanchez and Ozil, name any of the rest of those players that would get in the chav team for instance and on the salary Wenger pays them. There's not one.

I still there can be discontent there. They are the center of all media slagging and seen as a laughing stock to most opposition and a large majority of their own support so it's human nature for their inflated egos to take a hit.

Regarding Liverpool, ok their last results are pretty bad but did a job on the spuds and it only take one result to get the season kickstarted. When you need a push up the confidence ladder seeing Wenger and his merry men come over the hill is the one thing every team prays for

You could well be right, mate. I think my original point got a bit lost in the game by game detail. Our problem is, for Wenger to get the media hacks AKB pundits etc all back onside he only needs to get a run of 4 or 5 wins in that group of games - and there are enough winnable games for him to get that. :|

That run of flat track bully results will do to any protest exactly what it did to last season's protest, kill it dead, and we'll have AKBs assaulting WOBs, the media calling us ungrateful bastards, and Merson/Keown/Cross etc parping up with "careful what you wish for" and "Who could replace him?". :|
