As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Totally get not starting ESR, we have to look after him. BUT.....dropping Gabriel and Cedric after they had good games against the dustbin lids? How is someone supposed to find consistency FFS and to top it all, he leaves Shitshow Bob for another game.
I don’t get Arteta at all and I think he’s the same as Emery, after more than a year, Arteta has no clue what his best starting line up is.
Complete fucktard who is out of his depth.

Completely agree about the tinkering, beyond the inability to realise who his liabilities are he is totally unable to realise that to gain consistency a team needs to play with each other regularly, not in the biblical sense Rodders , he really needs someone with Managerial experience within his backroom team to explain these things to him....
Arteta just said that Cedric was due to play but he's not quite 100%. OK for the bench if he's needed.
He also intimated at a few other niggles.
Of course changes are forced on Managers, but not multiple players every single match, i believe there was a statistic a month or so back saying it was the first time he had played the same team in consecutive matches, the changes Arteta makes are not enforced in the main but due to his own tinkering as far as i can see

I agree with this...he tries to carry himself like a manager challenging on four different fronts who needs to carefully manage his squad to keep the challenges going. I don't think it's not knowing who his best squad is, rather about relentless tinkering by the genius he thinks he is.
Can anyone let me know when Xhaka and Partey might decide to join in. They've done a wonderful job or watching them walk through midfield, so I was wondering if someone might fancy telling them that we've fucking well started the fucking match.
