That's the one. Diawara hit the crossbar from about 6 yards out with a bouncer when easier to score, think he hit the post too along with a few other chances that any other striker we had would've buried. We'd put ourselves in pole position after that 3-1 win at the Swamp and the dippers beat Yanited.
Coming so soon ater the semi final game a few weeks earlier I felt sick after that Leeds game.

I worry about Tavares. This is the player who can give it away. I actually think he will get picked as its a home game v Leeds. Some fans rate his athleticism and speed, & in a way it can be useful when he gets forward, even with dodgy shooting and crossing, he is just one of those players that can cause the opposition headaches due to his energy and persistence. The problem is he can also cause ourselves a headache. I would go a steady backline of Tomiyasu LB, Cedric RB.

Remember, they were called DIRTY Leeds for very good reason, they still have that about them except of course they call it their "Pressing game" ie: get stuck into our youngsters from behind (No! Rodders not like that! ), they do have two players up front; James and Raphina with skill & blistering pace and can cause our back line problems; especially on our left flank (Tavares), and as we all know Clive who is meant to help cover the left flank turns slower than a bottle of milk.

They will try and make it physical, so it is a must that we stick to our quick, creative play; I just hope FFS That our passing and control/first touches is better than the last 2 games.

This is a MUST Win (just like the remaining games)

We can give these Sister Shagging, LightBulb Worshipping Mongs a right bumming if we turn up and play!

The one player that we have that is most capable of fucking this game up - or worse fucking up the NLD - is Clive. I've had this awful feeling all season that he is going to repay Martinez-Lite's misplaced faith in him by doing something cataclysmically stupid when it matters most.

Odds on he'll pull some fucker's jersey as they dance past him into the box and give away a stupid penno. Or he'll lose the rag when dirty Leeds put a late one on him and get sent off. If I was Leeds I'd target him for a bit of shithousery tbh because he's the most stupid bastard we have and like a child will respond.

That left side worries me because Tavares gets forward OK but then too often does not get back. He gets zero cover or assistance from Clive or Martinelli and there are often acres in behind him.

This will be tough. We need a couple of early goals to break their spirit.
