As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
That's a pretty strong (for us) team he's putting out.
Let's see if they play the tippy tappy sideways game or whether they're more direct.
It is,I'd say this will also be the starting line up for utd game ,depending on how Gyökeres does today, the only 2 changes I can see would be Havertz coming in for him if he has a poor game.
Could see MLS playing next week instead of Calafiori, I'm just presuming Calafiori starts to give him a chance to get match fitness.
I hope its not tippy tappy, or else we'll be bored shitless for the whole season
No Max Dowman and yet two players supposedly on their way out the door (nelson and zinchenko) are involved - can anyone explain the logic of that for me please ? Is it too obvious to point to the chav reject and suggest that we cant have a 15 year old looking a more dangerous player than our £52m signing ??
I know it sounds childish but i wouldnt care what credentials heinze had…if any.
He not arsenal, never has been and never will be, he’s one of the most anti arsenal things on our bench and he just shouldn’t be there.
Me neither, as long as he does a Brilliant job.....But as I and a few others have noticed and said... 'our defence in the 3 friendlies has looked a fuckin' shambles' (and in the majority of Prem games last season our defence was Decent.

Arsenal confirm Max Dowman has been given time off which is why he is not in the squad today.
Tommy Setford and Andre Harriman-Annous featured in this afternoon’s under-21s game against AS Monaco which is why they’re both out too.

Arteta mentioned Dowman was going to have a break after Villarreal so not surprised he's not in the squad today. I'm sure he does need a break and given his age, the fact he's still growing etc it's important he's managed cautiously.
I'd imagine the manager and those around the club would prefer to try and limit the hype aroud him for his own good, he's 15 after all.
Seeing as he was going to come off the bench and inevitably be brilliant again, perhaps managing the hype around him is linked to the timing of this break? Just a thought.
