The Wonder Of You

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Walk idiot walk is a different song, probably the worst single the hive released.

This is akaidiot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xh_fVSBEgKA

definite anthem I say, I can definitely see 60000 people singing it

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE HAVING A BUBBLE, SURELY? (IF IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IRONIC, YOU SHOULD HAVE PUT A WINK TO HELP OUT US NAIVE GUYS  )

THE MOST IMPORTANT INGREDIANT OF ANY ANTHEM IS THAT IT CAN BE SUNG EASILY BY ALL AND WITHOUT THE ASSISTANCE OF MUSIC. ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T MEET THAT CRITERIA IS DOOMED TO FAIL!!

Yes mate, I am taking the piss. Sorry, I would have put the wink, but I thought it would have been obvious enough. Great tune though. It might not become our anthem, but maybe it'll work on away days with the more vocal away supporters who have a wider range of songs  just for you IHH

It does not inspire. I always sing it and get the same stranage looks.

I think it would work better if it was not so close to the kick off...the crowd builds up and then that song brings us all back down to earth.

What about the '93 FA Cup single...

1-2-3-4 Shouting for the Gunners, 1-2-3-4 we're going to win the cup. ARSENAL, shouting for the gunners

ha ha ha classic

ok...most of us dont like wonder of you.....but with the greatest of respect what are we going to do about it..its easy to condem others suggestionds without having one of your own that can be played as the players come out...and sung by the majority.
i am fairly new here compared to many of you, and you have probably done all this before, but,,,,can we have a poll..can we then present the winning anthem to gooners magazine and Arsenal...and try and get it played?
i think most of us would like to have an anthem we can call our own anjd its only us that can make it happen

no, arsenal will do what suits them, and unless 60,000 people complained, or no, wait, unless a rather large, ugly pink feline decided SHE didnt like it, then maybe it would get changed.

if you were in seville you could not help but be impressed by their anthem and how it got the crowd going. friends and me have all got it on cd with "wonder of you" and play often in car to and from games. 100% per cent of those who have heard both have no doubt seville anthem so much better.

we`re hoping to get seville in quarter finals by which time we should be able to freak out the locals by singing their song word perfect.

if you aint heard it i`d post a copy but being computer moron would not know how to.

anyway an arsenal version of the seville anthem would be brilliant.

Good to see you back online rolypoly 8) I haven't heard the song in question but am intrigued to do so, so if any of the forum members can post a link to it, it would be greatly appreciated.
