As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
There was f*ck all contact and the manure crunt overacted (no surprise there) but the fact remains that Eboue went in with his foot high. Red card.
Eboue is a quality player with good technical ability on his day, but his days are very few and far between unfortunately. He always seems to be more interested in cheating, diving slipping in the sly elbow, kicking opponents and f*cking whining about being fouled more than he is in playing footy.
I saw the incident when I got home from work this morning. The replays show that Eboue was not even looking at the player, so he clearly wasn't trying to "do" him. The BBC commentary summed the whole thing up - Motson said, "The United players are furious" - oh well, fuck me, are they refereeing the game? I thought they wanted this harranguing of refs to be outlawed, but as long as it's Shrek-faced *word censored* like Rooney or Ferdinand then it must be ok
I have no time for Eboue whatsoever and find his general behaviour repulsive, but he should not have been sent off for that.
