For the majority of games red members get tickets. at the end of the season it becomes harder, and obviously the big 4 and big cl teams, but other than you we can get most if you are ready to log on when they go on sale.
I'd say as I red member I've been to 85% of matches since we moved, so I shouldn't really complain.
I just don't like that I go to every CL match group stage match, and when we have qualifiers, only for all the silver members who weren't interest in them to come out of the woodwork for the milan game.
Same applies to the ones who wont go to small premiership matches, but will snap up the man utds and chelseas.

People who moan about being able to get tickets on Red aren't really trying. Ok, you can't get the big ones, but I wouldn't expect to.Im silver too but i thought it was pretty good for getting tickets as a red?
I've been to the home games against
Fulham, Man City, Derby, Bolton, West Ham and Newcastle (all in the League).
Could have also got tickets for Wigan but was busy that day, and Birmingham too, but had to work. Getting more tricky now its getting to the back end of the season now.
In the Champions League, Red tickets were easily available for Sparta Prague and Steaua Bucharest (and prob Slavia, but didn't check).
Not sure about Newcastle in the FA Cup, but you could also easily have got tickets to the Carling Cup match, and the Spurs semi-final didn't sell out either (anyone know what happened there?)
Not forgetting the Emirates Cup tickets of course.
So plenty of opportunity if you wanna take it!

I can understand that.
I have only started going semi-regularly this season. Before this year I went to maybe 1-2 games a season on my Red membership, but now I can afford a bit more.
I too get annoyed that I go to Bolton, Derby, Fulham etc and then can't get the big game tickets, but then, when I got my red membership I didnt expect any more
I still think its good value for £20 though!

I am lucky enough to be a silver member, and agree that the ticket purchase system isnt ideal. I have also suffered at the hands of the "timed out" problem, which is really frustrating after a long wait to actually get into the ticket office!
A word of advice, it seems to work if you press back rather than refresh - hope that helps.

if that is true then I have got a result as I have only ever paid once for my place on the list.northbankbren wrote:have to pay for season ticket waiting list every year

As a silver member I am a bit cheesed off at the silverist nature of some of the comments on here.

I go to as many games as i can and get to about 15/20 a season. In order to be a bit fairer perhaps the club could reserve some tickets for the big games for those red members who have been to a lot of games. Some thing like this worked for the last game at highbury and cup tickets.

You only pay once for the season ticket waiting list. If you paid £15 every year then by the time you actually get to the top of the list (bearing in mind there at least 40000 people on there) then you would be a very poor person and Arsenal would be a very rich club!
PS You get the £15 back when you actually buy your season ticket.......
