HLEB what the fuck

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I think Adebayor is tired out from leading the line every game.

All this "Hleb must go" stuff is shite he works harder than the majority of the team, covers more ground, creates more chances than most. NO ONE is playing well at the moment, but to suggest that Hleb is the weak link......you have either never palyed football,or just dont have a clue.

I agree.
Hleb IS very inconsistent in his performances, but hopefully next season that will be improved on.
When he's playing well, he's one of the most exciting and dangerous players we have.

I believe hleb is a great player with a lot of potential. At the start of the season he was one of out best players, if not the best. No one in the world dribbles the ball like that man.

If the speculation about him joining inter hadnt risen i doubt this thread would have been brought up.

This player does require shooting lessons. thanks

I really rate Hleb. Last season his final pass often let him down. This season, apart from the last few weeks, he has looked really good.
And what other player have we got who can keep posession with three or four defenders surrounding him?
The man has class.

Why do we play him in that role? He always gets so isolated, if we put him in the centre of a five man midfield then just allow him to be in midfield rather then the hole.

Hleb seems one of those players who will always divide people between those who love him and those who hate him. Me, I love him but his form recently has been awful.

i have played football and i do have a clue  ,, hleb is a great player with unbelievable ball control,, but no end product doesnt score, doesnt create and to me is taking up a space on the team that a better more productive player would put to better use
wouldnt bother me if he leaves in the summer,, nice swap deal for ribery would be nice

Correct rebel

Helb looks good with his mazy dribbles but where is the end product where are the goals where are the fcuking shots.I couldn"t believe we missed out on Ribery. If Inter really want him i wouln"t hesitate to sell him

I think he should be sold this summer. This is when we can get the most money for him. Wenger should use that money to buy proper wingers who score goals.

Hleb is one of our best attacking players. He would not be in the team week in week out if he wasnt. He can play a ball no one else can. Yes he is inconsistent and weak in the tackle, but without him our attacking creativity is greatly stifled. Just look at the run around he gave Milan. I think we're being too harsh and looking for a scapegoat, and for me it isnt just hleb who cannot shoot from more than 5 yards.

Eboue somehow manages it and he can hardly be classified as one of our best attacking players!!

I love the 'I've played football' argument which some people try and use, it's hilarious!

Unless you've played professionally, you cannot use that argument.
Playing for a pub team or an amateur team doesn't give you any more rightful knowledge than someone who used to play football on a lunchtime at school!
Keep dreaming
