He didn't mean to snap Eduardo's leg but he meant to take him out as a way of intimidating our skilful players early in the game. Taylor was either reckless about the consequences of going in hard or just didn't care.
Just because there are lots of other British and Irish players who would do the same thing, and lots of "honest ex-pros" and pundits who resent the change in the game Arsenal represent and who think defending Taylor is more important than defending the likes of Eduardo from such assaults does not mean that Taylor isn't responsible for ending Eduardo's injury (and perhaps even his career).

He may not have meant to break his leg, but he certainly meant to cause him some pain early in the match. That makes him a thuggish *word censored* in my opinion.
