This is a problem that should not be there at all, it is too easy to tell our first eleven, which means squad is not big enough, Arsene made a mistake today by resting players he was in fact saying we are giving up on the league to win the champions league

Good on ya mate, glad to see someone keeping the faith! Arsene Knows!

Haven't seen Alexandre Song play for ages, same with Denilson, last time I saw him play when I went to a game was 2-0 vs wigan At Home, sat in Block 19 and fuck we went mental when them two Arsenal goals went in.

I feel Diaby is good enough for Arsenal, just needs more time, his has impressed me so far, even though that tackle vs bolton was awful and deserved a red card fully. Diaby is more of a Vieira, leggy and skillful and physical on the ball while it's at his feet, and I told you Nic would come good, still making up for blocking Cesc's shot the other day, I'm very happy for the lad. A taller version of The Dutch Master perhaps yes.

We all love this club but i couldn't understand the team selection today. We have two important games over the next 4 days so we rest key players by putting them on the bench! They come on when we are chasing a game we needed to win to keep the pressure on manure and chelski. The piont being if they are being rested surley playing for a short period they can still get injured .So why don't we play are strongest team from the start get the result then shut up shop and rest players.
We have a great young team but we need some proven players to make the squad stronger for when we get to the business end of the season,we have the funds to do this. The squad is a bit light weight we need to buy a least 3 quality players this summer.Perhaps i am being too critical, pissed off after swapping my shift at work, spending £45 on train tickets from swindon, extra £40 to bring my daughter (i got season ticket) but some of the players today are not up to are standard to big the big trophies, Eboue, Houlte, Troare even Bentner. Are best players Rosiky and Van Persie injured again. Do questions have to be asked of our backroom staff, because players always seemed to be out. Is the pampered life of the players today taking away the ambition to play week in and out sometimes when carrying injuries

Next season manure and chelski will spend millions again to strengthen will we get a promising teenager, not knocking Arsene with his policy of bringing youngsters through but how long will be put up with no trophies if we go out tuesday.
Great Stadium, Sell out every game, Money in the bank , play great football but fail at the final hurdle

Wenger put out a side more than capable of thrashing the side that Liverpool put out.

So I'd fault the players before wenger to be honest.

Our "second team" went to Anfield in the Carling Cup last season and thumped them, yesterday just proves what has been said thousands of times here, we don't have the class players to step in when first team players are injured or in need of a break - how come we play in CL on Wed and then Tue, Mancs have a week between and they are playing an inferior team?

I find it mildly amusing if I'm honest that IHH is coming out as the voice of despair and anger now after lambasting me a few weeks ago over it 8) Seriously though IHH as I said before in another thread I do think wenger was right in his team selection in everything bar his failure to rest the player needing a rest more than most and that was cesc.

We were not going to win the league anyway and all that concerned me yesterday was an injury to another 1st team player before tuesday night. I'd also like to think that he didnt rest hleb but dropped the waster instead but not very likely I know.

I have to say though that I find all this "arsene knows" shit to be at best presumptious and at worst bullshit  This man makes mistakes like every other manager out there and this season he has made as many mistakes as anyone and certainly more than he has ever made before. Granting the man a free pass on his cock ups because of past glories is insulting to the fans and club in general. He screwed up this season by not adding to the squad in terms of numbers but more importantly quality. I do not want to hear stories of what a happy camp we have and great morale etc etc(although not too many congratulated bedtner after his goal did they  ) because I dont really give a shit - I want to see a squad packed with quality and hungry for sucess and where there is fierce competition for places thus pushing each and every player to perform to his maximum each and every week. I dont care if the team is made up of kids or thirtysomethings nor do I care what nationality the players are or if they came through the club ranks.

What I want and expect is to see a team busting a gut every time they play for this club. I also want to see a club and manager who are ambitious to make our club among the biggest clubs in the world and are prepared to spend the money, when needed, to acheive that goal. I do not want to hear and more shite from either wenger or the board about making this club into the biggest club in the world and then sitting on their thumbs as all our rivals, both domesticall and in europe, spend to improve the quality of their squads.  :x

Summertime is coming Arsene and it will be time to put up or shut up - its your choice

Wenger got it wrong, United have today dropped points but it means fuck all to us because we are out of the race. I said a long while back that I thought that we would finish third and that the ribbons on the League trophy would be blue and white, I see no reason to change my mind
