GAYS IN FOOTBALL

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hey jacko...whereabouts in Cumbria are you from?
Kendal near the Lake district
I used to live in Arnside for many years...that's all; 15-20mins from Kendal I guess.

beautiful place to live...not ideal for commuting to the Arsenal though
I was lucky that my dad used to take me down on the train for most home games...that was when Virgin rail was still fairly cheap...happy days

I couldn't care less about a players sexuality, provided he plays with pride and passion for our club 8)

OOH...You can but wish can't you. Why should all those girl band slappers get the Prem footballer. What I wouldn't give to have a shower with a few of them.

The thing that is crazy is people putting player's names up here...none except Justin Fashanu have ever been confirmed gay.

As for Freddie, I know for a fact he has dated one of the worlds most eligible women, so if he is gay he mus bat for both sides.

Gay rumours seem to start when a player leaves for another club in acrimonious circumstances i.e. Sol Campbell and Ashley Cole...just disgruntled fans making it up probably as Ashley is married and Sol has a kid.

My friend saw Sol when he was out to dinner with a woman and she said the woman was unbelievable..ten out of ten fit...so I really doubt the rumours.

I reckon there would have been a few Arsenal players who are gay over the years..so we have all sung their names and cheered when they scored already.
