WENGER FLYS TO GENEVA - SIGNING IMMINENT?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'd say so....the article likens him to both Flamini and, the original water carrier himself, Didier Deschamps

Haven't seen him Calo but it says he is a determined ball winner so would imagine he is a defensive midfielder. Just googled him up and he played 28 times last year with no goals so IF we sign him it doesn't look like its for his goal scoring ability but to free our attacking midfielders into pushing forward and cover the defence.

Just what we need imo.

PSG have just completed the signing of Mateja Kezman so maybe they need to offset some of that expense. This could have some substance to it.

:? STEPHEN APPIAH
YEP HE WOULD FIT INTO THE INJURY ROOM VERY WELL WITH THE OTHER PLAYERS IN THERE. YER LETS SIGN HIM ,PAY HIM A WAGE WHILE HE SITS ON HIS BACKSIDE IN THE TREATMENT ROOM FOR MOST OF THE SEASON ,

I saw Adebayor madly humping Kaka in the dressing room when I stopped in to say hi to my dad Fabregas, who unfortunately was out having lunch with my uncle Arsene... but i got some good pizza out of it with our new signing Messi.

Either your friend in France is taking the piss or you are. But then maybe signing him is the only way we will get rid of Eboue??? :hammer:
