But Pires was best player on the pitch..he was bossing the game when he got subbed, had time on the ball, vision for the passes...are you serious Kevinho?Kevinho wrote:QuartzGooner wrote:Ahhh...a game that I still say "What if?"
Pires was our best player that night, even if he got subbed early.
TBH I was gutted to see him start in place of Reyes that night.

I just thought Reyes had been brilliant for us in the latter stages of our run to the final and deserved to start.

I would have liked to see Reyes, Dennis and Flamini used as subs if we had been left with eleven players!Kevinho wrote:QuartzGooner wrote:But Pires was best player on the pitch..he was bossing the game when he got subbed, had time on the ball, vision for the passes...are you serious Kevinho?Kevinho wrote:QuartzGooner wrote:Ahhh...a game that I still say "What if?"

we need a player at centre back that is good in the sir and on the floor, as gallas and toure massively lack aerial ability! thats that explained!
and i like Eboue, and he has started the season really well and still think he offers more than Walcott at the moment, might have gone for Rosicky and Nasri on the wings but Rosicky doesnt really count does he?
