WHY SING THAT FUCKING SONG?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yes he did the business tonight but he gets paid to do the business....handsomely after his summer demands.

This is the guy who has tried to have our club over a barrel yet after a couple of goals he is forgiven!

This guy is the modern day Frank Stapleton with the only difference being Adecashwhore's Man Yoo didn't come through with the money!

Hope those who sung that wanky song enjoyed those oh so sincere badge kissing moments!

Sorry to be negative after a great result but I hated hearing that fucking song!
could not agree more

Hang on... sell Ade and sign Huntelaar, and yet somehow make a £24m profit out of the deal? :?

erm.... how low are you valuing Huntelaar? or - more worryingly - how high are you valuing Ade?!

OK, well, at some point Ade was being bandied about at 30m.
Huntelaar was valued at 6m by the Dutch...

..so, 24m profit, right..

I thought Huntelaar was in the £15-20m range myself... but doesn't really matter, as we're stuck with the loveable rogue, anyway

He's a class A, 24 carrot muppet. And i wish he wasn't at OUR club. As for the singing, il never sing that song even if he bangs in 50 goals this season and gets world player of the year and declares his love for Arsenal. If he thinks 2 goals against Porto and a hat-trick against a shit Blackburn defence is gonna get my vote, then he is sooooooo wrong. And as for kissing the badge= TWAT, that is an insult in my opinion.

I thought Saunders made a good point (for once) when he said that Ade doesn't trust Theo enough...not making direct runs into the box when Theo has the ball to try and get on the end of a cross. Result: Theo crosses to no-one and everyone wonders what he was thinking. A bloke of Ade's size should always be looking to get in the box and get on the end of something rather thank making silly little dummy runs or going wide etc.

Thought Stuart "psycho" Pearce had some intelligent things to say aswell about Theo etc...interesting as the guy has obviously worked with him at u-21 level a fair bit.

That singing of the song happened about 5 minutes before half time and I got so fucking angry I left my seat and went out to the concourse to get a cuppa early and I think I swore at the steward on the way out saying something like "I aint sing a song for that greedy bastard"

Thing is I dont even think he played well last night and I thought their keeper was piss poor on his headed goal  In the last 10 minutes he had 2 or 3 chances to get his hat-trick and of course he fcuked them up and of course I shouted out that he is a useless fcuking *word censored* and two other gooners in front of me turned around and agreed with me and started slating him as well 8)

I could be wrong here but I think the whole anti greedybayor v the its all in the past is another example of the changing demographics of fans nowadays. It seems to me that the older fans that have followed The Arsenal for decades are far less forgiving than the younger less experienced fans. I still want the bastard shot myself and hopefully by someone with a better strike rate than himself 8) :barscarf: :barscarf:

I don't agree... but as I'm one of the younger generation (well, I'm in my mid-twenties) perhaps that's not a suprise.

I have a forgiving nature, and I always look for the best in people. In Ade, I see a young man who has made mistakes.... I don't think he's a lost cause, and I genuinely believe he wants to play for Arsenal.

And the badge kissing? it angers some people, and they believe he's a crunt for doing it... by I see a young guy who is trying to show he wants to play for Arsenal. A guy who is trying to make up for his mistakes. Yes, I think it's wrong for him to kiss the badge, but I truely believe his heart is in the right place.

I won't boo him, and I will support him.. including singing that song
