I heard him spin Thursday nights in London, a DnB night. He was good.
Movement at bar rumba? Legendary!! Some of the shit he does with 1210's is epic! Him and dj hype are my gods!

Yeah Movement.
I was not heavily into that scene but people invited me down and I really enjoyed the night.
Marky was good, but Crystl was doing wilder things a good few years before.

Hype is cool. Used to listen to him early and mid 90's.

Hype can often be found in club level as his young lads a massive gooner! Thing is i love about hype is massive in his scene, he was there from day one and still smashes it now. And is still proper down to earth and a normal guy, went to my first rave at 16 in 1999 and hype was the reason i started dj'in the same year. Still love my drum n bass but have never been into the attitude or bullshit. My gf hates it when i dust off the old jungle vinyl!

new album is very good . have only listened to it twice but it is better then what i was expecting, the last album was a classic and this one could be the same,
Come Around Sundown is their best album so far imo.

I'm enjoying it, also liking Vince Neil Tattos & Tequilla, not a classic but enough there to listen to.

has anyone here ever listened to "Easy Star Allstars"? it's a dub/reggae band formed by some great musicians. so long they have 4 albuns, including "Dub Side of the Moon" which is the obvious album from Pink Floyd all played in dub/reggae

and is
FANTASTIC.
they also have records called "Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band" which i don't think i need to explain and "Radiodread", which is covers of Radiohead.
there are clips in youtube of all the mentioned discs. do listen to Dub Side of The Moon if you can. bG strongly recommends it

I just checked it out Brazilian Gooner, nice musical idea but a bit too tame for my taste.
A similar idea of cover versions is by this Orchestra who have covered some of J-Dilla's music.
The album and DVD is out next month called "Suite For Ma Dukes"
Original of "Take Notice"
