Squillaci on his way to Arsenal???

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Steven Taylor? Are you serious? NFW. The guy is slow, overweight and completely *****. I hope he fucks off to spurs. Rather play Song as a CB.

I've seen some ridiculous statements on this forum many times, but I think this is my favourite.

"Arsenal are really bad at announcing transfers which haven't been completed yet"

WTF??

Just read this, sounds like its true.

Gunner’s defender deal delayed
Sebastien Squillaci has apparently flown back to Spain after undergoing his medical at the Emirates….don’t worry Gunners fans, he’s only gone back to tie up a few loose ends before completing his move to Arsenal. Squillaci will not be signed in time to make the trip to Ewood Park to face Blackburn on Saturday, with an official announcement not expected until Sunday at the earliest. The fee is in the region of £6m and some reports claim he will wear the number 18 shirt.

He had his medical on Monday, terms were already agreed so I'm thinking this will be announced later in the week with the other signing......hopefully.
