For me it's the way we let them score AT THE VERY FUCKING END that's so sickening. If they had scored say 10 minutes before time it wouldn't of hurt as much.
SPOT ON!! We were in the lead up until the 94th minute....3 points in the bag...it was literally the LAST play of the game....so fucking annoying!!!

In my opinion, we dropped 2 points.

Edit - I reckon Almunia did alright last night :o

I left the ground last in a state of shock at one of the worst double standard refereeing display i've ever seen.

Songs's two cards were a fucking joke,

Just after he was sent off Wilshire bursts through the middle and was blatantly chopped down on the edge of the box and he didnt even pull out the card.

The ref was overweight, struggled to keep up with the play and would have played till midnight until they got an equaliser.

On a more positive note Koscelny was outstanding, Almunia looked far more assured and was good to see a lot of the gooners get behind him.

Oh and best wishes to the female gooner who got smacked full in the face by the ball during the pre match shooting practice, She took one full pelt in the face and looked in some distress.

Long story short boys, 4am Sunday morning local time and I *just* finished watching the game.

I typically try to reserve a calm and insightful manner, and probably shouldn't be posting 2 minutes after watching that goal but.

FUCK. Fucking Phil Dowd, that fat donut munching *word censored*, he let Sunderland do what the fuck they wanted all fucking evening and then he goes and sends Song off for bumping into someone. WHat is that? Arsenal played with a lot of heart, but fucking Denilson can't hold the ball up and tries to be a fucking hero. I don't blame TRo for missing the PK but we shoulda taken our chance to kill the game off. Fucking Phil Dowd and fucking Sunderland away. Every year my cable company fucks with me for Sunderland away (three years running) and every year this fixture just leaves me right pissed off.

Plus, what the fuck is this 5 minutes of added time shit?! The balls out of the area clearly at 94 and fat fucking Phil doesn't even look at his watch, god knows its too far for his lazy ass to bother with. Just hand fucking Shiterland a point. Fuck.

I can't blame Clichy much, he was marauding forward all game and giving vital pass options to Nasri and TRo and co. up front, which helped us shave time off, it's not surprising he had no legs left by the end. It's disgusting that we didn't get three points after that inspired effort against a referee who had it in for us from the kick off.

I thought our defence were outstanding last night, Wilshere, who had a dire first half, improved vastly in the second.

The referee was a disgrace, Song's first booking, their player dived, his second was a booking, but as the previous poster stated, how Bramble didn't get a booking for his foul on Wilshere, just after, was baffling. :?

Gutted to miss out on the 3 points but overall it was a fair result, bearing in mind playing with 10 men for much of the second half, against Sunderland and the ref.

In fairness frank songs 1st yellow card was completely of his own doing he wasnt getting booked until he started to throw a strop thats why he was booked.

Was at the game yesterday and was absolutely gutted, we didn't play well in the first half at all and went ahead with a really bizaar goal, don't think I'd ever seen something like that ever! The second half was a much better performance, come into the game a lot more.. Wilshere perked up and started to get stuck in, Clichy was fantastic going forward but at the back is a liability.. Kos and SS were brilliant at the back and won the majority of the aerial duels.

Chamakh was my man of the match, he held up the ball really well and bought us alot of time, but he was often isolated and we were slow to get up top to support him, probably needed another striker to run onto his flick ons..

Penalty was the turning point for me, Rosickys head dropped after he missed and we become sloppy in midfield, thought we needed an outlet in the last few minutes, Eboue or Vela should had been put on to be a runner down the wings and keep the ball up in there half, we left that to Cham and Nasri who were knackered!

To concede like that in the 94th minute really hurt, buy I think we have a lot of positives to take on board, thought Almunia was faultless and we thought for each other..

West Brom in the league next weekend, so here's to 3 points and (hopefully) a lot of goals.. C'mon The Arsenal! :barscarf:

I think Song made some petty fouls, but nothing that deserved being sent from the field. Did anyone watching really think that his behaviour really warranted being banished from the field of play? There was nothing dirty about his play, it was just a couple of innocuous, mis-timed tackles. Yes, by the letter of the law he could potentially be booked twice (and was), but usually the referee's discretion (aka 'common sense') results in a slap on the wrists.

If players were sent off for those challenges in every game this weekend, most of them would've been abandoned becuase not enough players would've been left on the pitch at the end.

Also, yellow card for throwing your arms down in frustration? Where's that in the rulebook then?

imagine doing a UTD then!!
In comparison to last seasons fixtures that we have already played this season and assuming (generously) that we would have beaten Blackpool at the Emirates last season we have two more points this term after 5 games played. As we can only concentrate on our team I would imagine that this type or improvement trend is very welcome and could well see us improve our position but I am still a bit concerned about our consistency overall. Hopefully we have had our bedding in period and can see over the coming a few games just how our season will pan out. Whilst still wanting the three points away at Sunderland I think 1 is better than last year so no real need to be too down hearted.

Two CBs were great. Chamakh was great. I would not complain if I never saw Gael fucking Clichy ever wear the colors again . Rosicky I like your game usually but

And I havent seen a ref cheat so bad since the Liverpool v Arsenal champions league quarterfinal 2nd leg at Anfield. Phil Dowd, you honestly deserve to die a horrible death. People have suffered painful deaths for committing less crime than you have today, and throughout your awful career.
