BLUE MANCS UP NEXT

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I agree that actions speak louder than words, but this is a forum where the only contact we have with each other is through posting our views... in words!  therefore, saying actions speak louder than words can only go so far.

We make judgements based on the evidence we have, and despite your negative slant on things, I respect your views for their honesty - and for the fact you don't throw around insults. Others do, and I think lesser of them for it.
That's because you're a cunt though.

You have never heard of Gooner FC then ?? Two games to losses......our defensive record is on a par with Arsenal's although rebel's criticism of chunky's tactics (a la wenger) is somewhat harsh

Simples.

Speaking of which, to see the witchhunt directed at Arshavin on this forum is fucking scandalous. Are you idiots blind?

We needed guile, finesse and a bit of genius to break City down yet we didn't bring the one player on who has any of those traits until 70 mins.

City done a job tonite, one which a certain George Graham would be proud of and despite us playing well to me they look the more serious title contendors.
GG's teams didn't cost 250m and they actually tried to score a goal too.

We played well, anyone who knocks that performance should look at Barca-Inter and see that Inter did exactly the same against Barca, despite Barca battering them for two games. Its VERY hard to break down a team like that who just have everyone back. Honestly bar Kolo toure the rest didn't venture past the halfway line

Only thing was the subs were not needed, I think the team would have had a better chance with the 11 on the pitch all game (MAYBE Chamkah for someone)

Agreed we were excellent yesterday and unlucky not to have won. Our players were up for the fight and gave it their all, was pleasing to see. Some of the pride lost in the team is slowly being restored. :barscarf:

I agree that we played well, I think had we got one we would have given them a pasting.
I am at a loss with your Barca - Inter comment, did you actually watch the first game at the San Siro? Inter were by far the better team and scored 3 goals, so to compare last nights game with that is absurd.

However what I will also say is that the "hope we get raped by brum" comments seems to be a stick that is continually thrown at selsdon now and I dont agree with that. From what I see the guy reacted to another shitty performance away v wigan and lashed out saying something that in all likelihood he didnt mean and as far as I am concerned it is something we have all done (albeit not the same comment). How many of us have in the past, on the back of a dire performance and result, proclaimed that we are finished supporting these c**ts (and I am not just talking about this era either) only to calm down a day or two later and return to pledge allegiance to the cause again ? Selsdon went overboard but unless he really meant it then continually bringing it up and using it to deflect away from any opinions he has had since is wrong imo
People are responsible for what they post - and if they don't mean it, they shouldn't write it.

In the last few days he's hoped we get raped by Birmingham and called people on here idiots - and I've hardly read any of his posts as I've not been on here much, so I'm assuming there's more controversial remarks.

Anyway, perhaps they were isolated cases and he's actually a decent chap - but if you can't judge a person on what they writes, what can you judge them on?
Their height?

You write kind of average height, no?
