Carling Cup Final footy thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Worrything thing is we have no match winners. RVP is a great player and possibly the closest we've got.

Chamakh isn't. Bendtner isnt. Nasri isnt. Cesc isnt.

Foster was top draw - doubt he will play that well ever again TR7 didnt do much but on the positive JW19 RVP10 were immense

I dont think we made foster work enough. He had a decent game but didn't really have all that much to do IMO. We were outplayed by Brum beginning to end. They shouldve had a penalty, hit the post, scored two goals. Better team won. that's whats embarrassing.

I'm from the school of thought that the keeper controls the box, mate. He has to be loud and come get it, let the defender know to leave it. Basic stuff for me.

It's just typical though that we lose to a stupid mistake like that. And as mentioned, Arsenal post-Cesc is not a pleasant thought...

Wilshere was top draw as usual. A feel sorry for him. The rest were not good enough, Song has gone downhill from where he was at the start of the season.

Fick this ''only'' the Carling Cup final shit, everyone knows that its better to win the Leauge Cup then win fuck all, well guess what we're gonna win this year.

FUCK ALL!!!!!!!

I don't blame Kos, I thought he played well. Our 'keeper is to blame because he should be telling Kos to leave it if he wants to catch it, simple as. Woeful performance all round.

Fuck this shower of shit.

The last 2 weeks are typical of this team. Win against the probably one of the best teams ever, then we draw against a league one team and lose to a team who will probably get relegated in a fucking cup final.

Theres no need for the AW out calls now, we still have 3 competitions we can win. Leave that talk for the summer or when we're out of all the competitions (which may be soon  )

Koscielny's Arsenal career is in jeopardy. Can't see how he'll come back from that.

Rosicky stunk the place out today. Piece of shit player.

As for Wenger, he basically ensured we weren't going to win with his substitutions. We need a goal, what does the wanker do? Bring RvP off for Bendtner, bring Arshavin off for Chamakh.
