You can keep Gyan but I would love to see us pay you £10 million to take the tosser off our hands!safcftm wrote:You lot need a striker, could you please, please come and sign Asamoah Gyan. £10m and Bendtner or something, you know you want to
It would be the best bit of business we did all summer.

Although £10M is a little steep...For that I'd be amont I'd at least be expecting to chuck Denilson in.

Very true! Do you think we could stretch to a Diaby too?

He comes into this wearing a Sp*ds shirt. So how does that now effect this deal?Percy Dalton wrote:Boomer wrote:Amen!Percy Dalton wrote:You can keep Gyan but I would love to see us pay you £10 million to take the tosser off our hands!safcftm wrote:You lot need a striker, could you please, please come and sign Asamoah Gyan. £10m and Bendtner or something, you know you want to

I'd say throw in Amy Bruce and you've got yourself a deal!

Because he already wants to leave and I'd rather he actually made a proper step up. Having lost Bent to Villa (bigger club than us but will never break top 4), we now have Gyan wanking off over fucking Spurs (smaller club than us, fucking cup club with nearly fuck all league titles in their history) who got top 4 once and wont get it again. He might as well stay with us and hope to compete for a europa league place, but no, we get the quotes of "Spurs are a fantastic club and any player would be flattered by their interest, so I am, but there is nothing I can do if Sunderland want to keep me", aye thanks Asamoah, make playing for us sound like a chore why dont you1989 wrote:Why would you want to sell Gyan?safcftm wrote:You lot need a striker, could you please, please come and sign Asamoah Gyan. £10m and Bendtner or something, you know you want to
Harry Redknapp doing his usual unsettling of our players, *word censored*. Fact is that nowadays all clubs outside the top 4 are just feeder clubs, the fact Gyan has been here 5 minutes doesnt stop him wanting away, theres no loyalty now and when a player wants to leave theres little you can do. Thing is though, I'd like to see us try to improve and the next challenge for us has to be trying to challenge the likes of Villa, Everton and Spurs, we'll never do that if we keep selling them our best players. If we got a good offer from a big club I wouldnt mind so much. He could go to Arsenal if he wanted, I could understand that- much bigger club than us, chance to challenge for the title, CL football every season, any player would take it. But go to fucking Spurs and I'll be raging.
So aye, come in for him, we can be happy (as we are with Henderson) that at least he moved to a big club, we get the money to replace him and we havent just strengthened a club we should be trying to challenge, win/win!
He's only been there 1 year and already wants to go?safcftm wrote:Because he already wants to leave and I'd rather he actually made a proper step up. True about player loyalty, it's at an all time low these days unfortunately. We won't sign him as he's a good player and Wenger doesn't buy good players anymore, so hope you hold onto him.
Anyone would think Sunderland was a shithole1989 wrote:He's only been there 1 year and already wants to go?fucking dickhead, good player though.

Nah tbh mate footballs getting beyond a joke now, all players are just bothered about money, and they all have arsehole agents manipulating them. It used to be the case that players appreciated their clubs giving them a job and would show them loyalty, even if the club wasnt going to win things. Now we can pay them enough money to set them up for life (and then some) and they still cant show the loyalty shown by players on a fraction of their money a few years ago, mercenaries the lot of them
I hope Henderson does well, he has been professional about it and such likes, but he still jumped at the chance to move straight away and thats a local lad, then we have bent being a slimy lying two faced *word censored*, Gyan wanting away, you lot have got Cesc practically sucking cock in barcelona to move there, Nasri seemingly looking like repaying your faith in him by slapping you in the face and even a fucking squad player like Diaby going around in a fucking Tottenham shirt. Its so hard to really give a fuck about any of these players now- pay hundreds of quid a season to watch players who wouldnt piss on you if you were on fire, sit in silence, fucking load of shite. Hope football implodes, I'll get you a pint at the FC Arsenal v Sunderland City game in some shithole park with huge holes in the pitch and no lighting

If I was you i'd be holding out for a straight cash deal- never really rated Bojan, Thiago seems like a good prospect but, like Bojan, it is just another prospect. For Cesc (depending on how long is left in his contract) you should be holding out for at least £50m or 60m imorigsby wrote:1010 BST: Barcelona have offered have offered 30 million euros plus striker Bojan Krkic and midfielder Thiago Alcantara to Arsenal in exchange for skipper Cesc Fabregas.
