Because he already wants to leave and I'd rather he actually made a proper step up. Fact is that nowadays all clubs outside the top 4 are just feeder clubs, the fact Gyan has been here 5 minutes doesnt stop him wanting away, theres no loyalty now and when a player wants to leave theres little you can do. Thing is though, I'd like to see us try to improve and the next challenge for us has to be trying to challenge the likes of Villa, Everton and Spurs, we'll never do that if we keep selling them our best players. If we got a good offer from a big club I wouldnt mind so much. He could go to Arsenal if he wanted, I could understand that- much bigger club than us, chance to challenge for the title, CL football every season, any player would take it. Nah tbh mate footballs getting beyond a joke now, all players are just bothered about money, and they all have arsehole agents manipulating them. It used to be the case that players appreciated their clubs giving them a job and would show them loyalty, even if the club wasnt going to win things. Now we can pay them enough money to set them up for life (and then some) and they still cant show the loyalty shown by players on a fraction of their money a few years ago, mercenaries the lot of them
