Arsenal Artillery 1886

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The bad news:

Been in touch with Sue Campbell (Head of Travel, Events & Supporter Liaison at Arsenal). She replied saying "go to REDaction"

The good news:

I have more or less secured a major backer to fund any campaigns Arsenal Artillery 1886 want to set-up. This backer has a strong affiliation with the club.

I played the "we have funding" card in response to Sue so we'll see what comes of it.

Anyone know the last time REDaction pulled off a successful campaign inside the stadium to improve the atmosphere?

Cheers pal.

Looking promising. Just need a positive response from the club now and we're all set to roll out a top draw card display in the coming weeks which will hopefully pave the wave for a magical one when the sc*m visit in 2 months time.

I know people will knock the card display but no other club in the Premier League has them and they do provide support to the players when they enter the field + it's a start in terms of trying to create an overall better atmosphere. If all parties involved in trying to improve the atmosphere can do their bit then little-by-little we'll it begin to change for the better :barscarf:

I sit Block 18, Worst block. Ever. Should be amazing as it's a good view and next to the away fans but as others mention, You get dirty looks if you start songs or if they have more than 8 syllabulls!

Got told to shut up and watch the game by an annoying know-it-all *word censored* who sits in front at the WBA game for singing one Of Mikels songs a few times too many.

M-50 whilst I applaud your efforts to try and improve the atmosphere at the Souless Bowl, I really cannot see how a card display will help achieve this, afterall If I felt the need for a card display then surely a visit to my local Clintons would better, afterall it's what they do best.

Why try and re-invent the wheel, RedAction and BSM are already in discussions with the club on many of the points raised in this thread?

Surely it would be better to add the weight of our support to those groups as opposed to trying to start up yet another similar group which quite honestly has as much chance of succeeding as I do in my quest to have a threesome with Holly Valance and Kylie :banghead:

Us fans who are fortunate enough to attend games are there to offer our support. A card display/message from fans to the players as they enter the field of play is a sign of support is it not?

Like I said before, it's a step in the right direction.
