Sunderland Calling

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yeah yeah.... I know. ;-)

Just checked the weather report and its gonna be the hottest day of the year!!

Rolling subs I feel :-S

Yeah it will be hot so take plenty of water onboard before the game starting at least an hour before, just before and during the game too.

Then I have to go and play cricket for 6 hours

You'll need no ticket to watch the fans game this Saturday... it's free entry...

I haven't had confirmation back yet from 2smooth from SWL. Does anyone else have 2smooths contact details.
If not I can try and get someone else (my brother is a ref so will check with him).

The kick off is 10am

Unfortunately, I definitely won't make it

Did my ankle last Tuesday and that put paid to any thoughts of coming over. While I'm recovering well, the game just comes too early for me  . It looks like i'll be back by September*. (*advice from competent medical services) :)

I'm looking forward to the highlights on youtube.

Deffo no go here too. Gutted. We owe the Mackem for the 5-1 humiliation from two seasons ago. :(

Fwank - wear that brown tracky, mate. For old time's sake. Very old. Circa 1975. :D

Me old striking partner, Lefty - score one for old uncle DB. 8)

Best of luck, lads. :barscarf: 8)

At this rate it'll be an all out 60 minutes. Fuck that. I'm gonna get sent off around 40 minutes in. Apologies in advance to the soon to be crippled Mackem.

Fuck right off, I will have a word in the refs shell-like and you won't be going anywhere  Then you will have 11 makems all trying to kick the shit out of you......think about it 8)

Can anyone get any other players :?:

Can we all last for 60 minutes :|

I can see us holding out for the first half like 2/3 (?) years ago and then conceding a few in the last 15 minutes, I shall do the DM (dirty midfielder) work and let the rest of you do the intricate bits

Duh, 10. Cos 1 will already be laid out for the day after my hatchet job. 10 angry Mackems I can handle no problem, 11 and I'd need to reconsider my dastardly plan.
