Re: Swansea FA Cup Thread
We actually showed a bit of endeavour in the second half and consequently showed them to be what they truly are: a bunch of overrated Jack bastards who aren't half as good as people make out (full side or not).
We genuinely may be the worst team in the league defensively. Our defence had fuck all to deal with in the second half and still managed to ship two goals in, imagine if we were under the kosh as much as teams like Southampton and Villa are (when they're not playing us). It's only because our midfield has so much possession and we're one of the better attacking teams in the league that we concede less goals than those teams, not because we're any better at the back.
We managed to expose Newcastle for the shite team they actually are, but THREE FUCKING TIMES managed to let them score as soon as they wanted to. Today Swansea couldn't string two passes together in the second half and barely got out of their half, yet as soon as we went 2-1 up it was absolutely inevitable that they were immediately gifted a golden opportunity where 3 or 4 players could have put the ball in the back of the net. Just like QPR were unable to do anything for 88 minutes yet with 10 men as soon as they went behind were gifted two fantastic opportunities to nick a point.
Fuck zonal marking.
Fuck Koscielny planting a pathetic header straight down the middle from a cross centre-halves dream of.
Fuck our full-backs not being able to put in a decent ball if their lives depended on it.
Fuck Giroud struggling to carve out any real opportunities whenever he plays.
We are spineless. Nothing else matters.

Not a bad result considering this is a very avaerage Arsenal team.

Come on, that was pretty close!

I'm afraid you lacked focus, TST.S wrote:T.S wrote:"We maybe lacked little bit calmness defensively."Arsene Wenger wrote:"...we lacked a little bit calmness and focus."![]()

Anyway, can't believe the Swansea replay is category B

If this is Arsenal's decision, then it's a bloody disgrace as it's only an FA Cup replay where players will be rested. I wonder if Swansea insisted on Cat B as they get a cut of the profits? - either way, it stinks!

Re: Swansea FA Cup Thread
They can't sell it as category c as they are included in the season ticket as cup credits, if they were sold as category c they would be selling them for cheaper than what they charge season ticket holders for them. Thus you end up with games against teams like Leyton Orient costing category B prices.

Nice for a change to bring on a sub and for him to make an impact, pod looked up for it and Injected some energy into the team. Nice goal too, I know some have been critical of him but I like this guy.
