TL how do you rank your chances of breaking David Boon's beer-drinking record on the flight?

best of luck TL. don't play with any didgeridoos is my advice and enjoy every second of it, we're here for a good time, not a long time!
conversely to that, I am looking for a new job as mine will be coming to an end at the end of the month. project management is a bit of a pain at the moment so sending out shitloads of applications...irksome, repetitive, but needs to be done!

Heh, not quite NB. Actually only had two glasses of champers on the way out. Learned a long time ago, that booze and flying don't sit well together.

Good luck with the job hunting flash. Going by recent previous experience, most jobs advertised back home, are for 16-20 hrs p/w. WTF?
Cheers skizz. I am here to try something different, and to get myself going again. The last 7-8 months back in London were shite, and the answers were not at the bottom of a bottle.

Fuck me, I looked hard and long for them there though.
Went to footy training last night. Twelve 10 y/o lads. An hour of it. Bloody good laugh. Watching my bruv giving tactical talks and then watching the boys run around like headless chickens ignoring what they had been told.
Two lads had Cazorla and Henry shirts, two Man Utd, two Barca.
Nine pitches included footy (soccer), aussie rules and rugby. On the way back home there were other floodlit parks full of the same thing.
Still feeling stoned out of my nut from jetlag, or to coin a phrase I am bollixed.

Had a bbq yet Top? Good to know you arrived safely.
Please let us know what the grub is like, the beers, the women (or just one good woman?) and how Arsenal are perceived out there.
And if things are better for you there?

Cheers Quartz. I appreciate that mate.
Plenty of mother's were at the footy last night. I was surprised how knowledgeable they were about soccer.
Having a bbq tonight, mates and family coming over. It's a bring your own steak, plenty of fresh fish and home made pizza's. Peroni beer in the fridges, I will get the chance to change that though. Seems that wine is the order of the day.
Loads of health conscious joggers early morning. Sun screen and bottles of water are advised, even during the winter.
Plenty of cycle routes and I am looking forward to that. Going kayaking this weekend. We have a local pool and gym across the park. Feeling exhausted at the very thought of just signing up for it.
I brought over loads of signed footy shirts with me (18-20). Brother is going to get them framed and present them to the top player each month.
He had told the parents last night that I was an Arsenal scout. The joke lasted for half an hour or so.

I knew you knew fuck all about football, mate!!
Glad you made it over safely TL. Hope you have a great time. I spent my entire childhood in Brisbane and fucking loved it - always something to do, somewhere to go, never bored, loads of sunshine and great food. Brilliant country.
Grab yourself one of them soccer moms!
