As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Its a case of when not if now as was stated earlier in this thread whenever these scumbags are in the hunt for anything they get the rub of the green all the things that happened last week against citeh.. Sunderland bottom of the pile go to fannyfield and miss a late sitter for a point..not to worry though they then go to citeh and plunder a point..they then go to chavski and inflict maureens first home defeat in the league in god knows how long everything falling into place for the dippers and make no mistake if they are in any danger of fucking up in any of the games left officials will make sure it doesn't happen.
It's over, they've won it. And as much as it pains me to say it, they deserve it. Playing great football, won 10 games (?) on the spin at the business end of the season when it counts, they've proven to Wenger that you need at least one world class striker to win the title and they have a dynamic young manager putting fresh impetus into the club. Everything we don't have
That said, I still absolutely fucking hate and loathe them - the media wankathon when they lift it will be unbearable. I'm gonna go live in the desert for six months!
call it rub of the green but don't forget they've destroyed everybody lately, you don't sit top of the table with just 4 games left by just relying on the rub of the green, theyve won 10 on the spin, thats title form regardless of what everybody else has or hasn't done.this time of the season who the title goes to always depends on who slips up and who has the consistency.i for one will be glad if they do win the title, its better than chavski and city with all there billions buying the league again again and again
There's to lose.....much as I detest the sycophancy, media orgasm and hype that goes with the victims they have, assuming they don't fuck up incredibly, deserved it
I really hope they fuck it up, I really hate them. They have had so much luck recently, I hope it runs out. They ain't no better than us without our injuries.

Good on Liverpool, they deserve to win it. Changed things in by bringing in a fresh young manager, don't sell their best players to rivals, and play fast attacking football.
If anyone is to blame it's not the 'luck' they received - it was whoever made the ridiculous £40,000,001 bid for Suarez. If they didn't take the p!ss and offered a sensible amount Liverpool wouldn't be heading towards the title (and by a minor miracle it could have been us).
And why shouldn't the media have a field day of it? What they will have achieved if they do clinch the title will be nothing short of remarkable.

They were clearly beatable. All this about us not being able to compete with the oil teams is total horseshit. We were competing with them - we were top of the league pretty much unbroken from the end of August to the end of January.
Where we fucked up, as so many of us predicted, is where Wenger's ego and refusal to learn any lessons from 07/08 came into play - namely doing nothing in January. Wenger is a great manager if your sole intention as a club is to get top 4 on a budget. However he lacks the extra 10% needed to compete at the top level and lead us to titles or European Cups. That 10% comprises of genuine tactical nous and a willingness to use the transfer market to bolster a squad that will clearly become tired and breakdown at the end of a long season.
And the problem is that all those teams will strengthen this summer, and you know what we'll do? Fuck all of course. This was our best shot at winning the title for a long time, and also for years to come. And Wenger fucked it, predictably. We won't even be close next season.

It pains me to say it but I agree with everything you say. Unfortunately its gonna be intolerable if Liverpool win the league. I sincerely hope they bottle it.
